"Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other."

We are blessed to be led by this dynamic father-and-son duo: Pastor Serafin and Pastor Otep! Thank you for pouring your hearts into our church family. Your hard work, spiritual care, and leadership do not go unnoticed.

Today, we celebrate and appreciate our beloved Sunday School Teachers of UPC Taytay! ๐Ÿ“–โค๏ธ

We are truly blessed to have teachers serving in different areas and ministries, faithfully teaching, guiding, and nurturing the next generation.

We started with just one Sunday School teacher, who was also our preacher, Pastor Serafin. But look what the Lord has done! ๐Ÿ™Œ

From one teacher to many faithful teachers serving across different classes and areas, God has continued to grow our Sunday School ministry. What started small has become a beautiful testimony of Godโ€™s faithfulness.

To all our Sunday School Teachers, thank you for your time, patience, love, sacrifice, and dedication. Every lesson you teach, every prayer you pray, and every life you touch is part of something eternal.

This world has been deceived by the works of enemies and we must be careful because sometimes we are giving more time to this world's entertainment than reading the word of God.

WHY DOES GOD WANT OUR HEART? In order to exchange our heart with a NEW ONE.

Going to church is not just an attendance. We are here to give praise & glory to God and it shows how we live as a Christian. Prayer and praise without our whole heart is nothing!

We are the children of God and He is asking something for us. It is His petition to us that we give our hearts to Him - it means our whole being.

Matthew 28:20
"...I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

Man is a self-centered person. We have our own opinions & reasons and any people doesn't want to be reminded. Even though we men are like that, the Lord did not leave us.

That's why always put God FIRST! Whatever calamities you have in life, always remember the Lord is faithful to us.

Let us consider the wise counsel of God, serve the Lord with a clean heart, with gladness and respect and worship God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength!

We don't need to be "fully charged" by our own efforts. The Lord Jesus Christ is our spiritual power! Don't let ourselve...

We don't need to be "fully charged" by our own efforts. The Lord Jesus Christ is our spiritual power! Don't let ourselves be isolated from the source of life which is Jesus!.

Our life in this world is temporary, but if we have Jesus Christ is our lives, we have a home in heaven.

God sees you and me and he knows your situation โ€” your background, your pain, your questions; the Lord waits for you to come home.

There are people outside who needs to be healed, redeemed, and needs direction in life. God chose us to reach them, to go out and bring them in the house of the Lord.

The gospel of the Lord wasn't for those people who have everything together. The gospel is for everyone!

Don't judge the person who wants to hear the gospel. The Lord didn't order us to choose people who wants to hear the gospel. Just preach and go and the Lord will change their lives!

REASONS TO COME HOME:
1. Jesus loves you (John 3:16)
2. Jesus forgives (1 John 1:9)
3. Jesus can change everyone of us

In Romans 12:1-2:
"I BESEECH YOU..."
-means God is calling for a response from us. He is not about forcing us to worship him but it must be our love responds to His mercy. We worship because He is worthy to be praised!

"PRESENT YOUR BODIES..."
-God wants all of you. Your strength, time, future, abilities, your whole being.
-We must understand that God does not want your hands, but he wants your heart and mind. And our hearts include our emotions.
-The important question: Who do you give your emotions?

"A LIVING SACRIFICE..."
-God doesn't want something that has been given once. That's why God wants something alive that stays at the altar

"HOLY, ACCEPTABLE UNTO GOD..."
-True Christianity doesn't happen only inside the church. You should be transformed and stays with you everywhere! You don't stop belonging to Jesus when you leave the church.

"REASONABLE SERVICE..."
-Grace makes everything reasonable. When we understand the mercy of God, our sacrifices wouldn't be a burden to us. It is a privilege to serve the Lord which is our reasonable service!

"BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD..."
-You cannot be transformed while you are constantly conforming! We want changes in our lives but we don't want to let go what we are clinging in this world.
-We are called to be different! Not all that is acceptable in this society is acceptable to the Lord.

"BUT BE YE TRANSFORMED..."
-Let everyone around you let you see you growing! Transformation starts in the mind.
-You don't renew your mind by only thinking positively in this world. The right renewal comes from the word of God!
-When you think you cannot do anything, the word of God says "I can do all things through Christ..."
