Rev. Amado Perez
God is not only calling us to grow outwardly, but inwardly. Before David could stand before Goliath, he first learned intimacy with God in the hidden places. His authority did not come from appearance, armor, or experience, it came from his relationship with God. The deeper your walk with God becomes, the greater the spiritual authority He entrusts to you.
Just like tall buildings require deep foundations, spiritual elevation also requires spiritual depth. A weak foundation cannot sustain a high structure. In the same way, God brings us deeper in prayer, obedience, humility, and faithfulness so He can raise us higher in purpose and calling.
Jesus desires elevation for His servants. βWell done, thou good and faithful servantβ is the reward of those who remain faithful in the deep places before they are lifted in greater responsibility. Depth with God always produces height in ministry, authority, and influence.
