๐ฅA LIVING SACRIFICE ๐ฅ
Pastor Jessie Co preached from Romans 12:1-2, and honestly, it was one of those messages that doesn't just make you feel goodโit makes you reevaluate your life.
Here's what he laid down:
First, true worship isn't just about showing up on Sunday, singing a few songs, and going home. It's about offering your entire life to Godโyour time, your relationships, your work, your struggles. Everything. That's what being a "living sacrifice" really means. So let me ask you: are you just going through the motions, or are you actually living for God every single day?
Second, stop letting the world tell you who to be. Society is loud, chaotic, and always pushing you to conform. But God is calling you to be transformedโand that transformation starts in your mind. Change how you think, and your whole life changes. Simple, but not easy, right?
Third, Pastor reminded us that faith is believing in what you can't see yet. And let's be honestโthat's tough. We all want proof. We all want to see results before we take a step. But faith literally means moving forward even when the path isn't clear.
Faith without action is dead. You can say you believe all you want, but if your life doesn't show it, then what's the point? So I gotta ask youโwhat are you actually doing with your faith? Are you just believing in your head, or are you living it out with your hands and feet?
The change starts with you. Not your spouse, not your boss, not your circumstancesโyou. It's so easy to make excuses or blame others for why we're stuck. But God is asking you to take responsibility for your own growth. Renew your mind. Take that step. Stop waiting for everything to be perfect.
So here's my question for you: What's one thing you can actually do this week to show your faith is alive? Not tomorrow, not next monthโthis week. Drop it in the comments! Let's hold each other accountable, because we all need this reminder. ๐
