Every year, Catholics around the world celebrate Corpus Christi, one of the most beautiful and profound feasts of the Church. Yet many Catholics know the Eucharist is important without fully understanding why this feast deserves such special attention.

Corpus Christi is not simply another feast day on the Church calendar. It is a celebration of the greatest gift Jesus left His Church, His Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Here are ten important things every Catholic should know about this special day.

1. Corpus Christi means “Body of Christ.”
The feast celebrates Jesus Christ truly present in the Holy Eucharist, His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

2. It is one of the Church’s most important Eucharistic feasts.
The day is dedicated entirely to honoring the Blessed Sacrament and deepening our love for Jesus in the Eucharist.

3. It began because of a Eucharistic miracle and a saint’s vision.
St. Juliana of Liège promoted the feast after receiving visions that encouraged greater devotion to the Eucharist.

4. The feast was established for the whole Church in 1264.
Pope Urban IV extended the celebration to the universal Church after the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena.

5. Catholics believe the Eucharist is truly Jesus.
At Mass, the bread and wine become the Body and Bl00d of Christ, even though they still look like bread and wine.

6. Eucharistic processions are a public witness of faith.
When Catholics carry the Blessed Sacrament through the streets, they proclaim that Christ is Lord of every place and every person.

7. Corpus Christi is a reminder of the Last Supper.
It recalls the moment Jesus gave us the Eucharist and commanded His disciples to continue celebrating it.

8. The feast calls us to Eucharistic reverence.
It invites Catholics to approach Holy Communion with faith, preparation, and gratitude.

9. It reminds us that Jesus remains with us.
Through the Eucharist, Christ fulfills His promise: “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).

10. Corpus Christi is not only about adoration but also transformation.
The more we receive Jesus worthily, the more we are called to become like Him in love, mercy, humility, and service.

In simple words, Corpus Christi Sunday is the Church's joyful celebration of the greatest treasure we possess, the Holy Eucharist. It reminds us that Jesus did not leave us alone after His Ascension. He remains with us in every tabernacle, at every Mass, and in every worthy Holy Communion.

As we celebrate this feast, let us not only adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament but also allow Him to transform our hearts. The same Jesus we receive at the altar should be visible in the way we love, forgive, serve, and care for others.

May this Corpus Christi deepen our faith in the Real Presence of Christ and renew our love for the Eucharist, the source and summit of the Christian life.

Now you know.

THANK GOD, IT'S FIRST FRIDAY!

Today, we give thanks for the gift of another First Friday—a special day dedicated to honoring the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Amid the busyness, worries, and noise of daily life, we are invited to draw near to the One who loves us with an everlasting love.

Let us spend time with Jesus truly present in the Holy Eucharist. In the silence of adoration, we bring Him our joys, burdens, fears, and hopes. Before the Blessed Sacrament, we do not stand before a symbol, but before Christ Himself—waiting for us, loving us, and offering us His peace.

May this First Friday renew our faith, strengthen our hearts, and remind us that we are never alone. Whatever we are carrying today, let us place it in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, present in the Holy Eucharist, we adore You, we thank You, and we love You. Draw us closer to Your Sacred Heart and fill us with Your peace. Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. ❤️

THANK YOU MAMA MARY FOR GUIDING ME THIS MAY
MAY THE SACRED HEART BLESS ME THIS JUNE

Thank you, Mama Mary, for walking with us throughout the whole month of May. In every Rosary prayed, every candle offered, every flower laid before your image, and every silent prayer whispered from our hearts, you lovingly guided us closer to your Son, Jesus Christ. Through your gentle motherly care, you reminded us that we are never alone in our joys, struggles, fears, and hopes. As the Month of Mary comes to an end, our devotion does not end with it. Rather, may the lessons you taught us — humility, obedience, prayerfulness, and complete trust in God — continue to live within us each day.

May was truly a grace-filled journey. Some of us experienced victories and happiness, while others carried burdens, tears, and silent battles. Yet through it all, Mama Mary remained beside us, interceding for us and wrapping us beneath her mantle of protection. Like a true mother, she continually points us not to herself, but always toward Jesus.

Now, we enter the month of June — a month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. After journeying with the heart of Mary in May, we now rest in the loving Heart of Christ this June. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a symbol of His endless love, mercy, compassion, and sacrifice for humanity. His Heart burns with love for each one of us, especially the weary, the broken, the forgotten, and the sinful.

As we begin this new month, may the Sacred Heart of Jesus bless our homes, our families, our work, our studies, and our dreams. May He heal the wounds we carry silently within our hearts. May He strengthen those who are tired, comfort those who are grieving, guide those who are lost, and renew the faith of those who feel weak and distant. May His Sacred Heart teach us how to love more sincerely, forgive more freely, and trust God more deeply.

And just as Mary always leads us to Jesus, may our devotion this June draw us closer to the Sacred Heart that was pierced out of love for us. Let this new month be filled with grace, peace, hope, and spiritual renewal.

Thank you, Mama Mary, for your guidance throughout May.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, bless us this upcoming month of June.

Have a blessed and grace-filled June 2026, mga bok at ’ter.
