🌏🙏 One Year to Go!

Preparations for World Youth Day Seoul 2027 have entered their final operational phase as the Catholic Church and South Korean authorities work together to welcome hundreds of thousands of young pilgrims from around the world.

📍 August 3–8, 2027 | Seoul, South Korea

This historic event will be:
* The second World Youth Day ever held in Asia, after Manila (1995).
* The first WYD hosted in a country where Christians are a minority.

The Church is preparing an inspiring celebration of faith, hope, and unity with extensive planning for pilgrim hospitality, transportation, security, healthcare, digital services, and international coordination. Around 30,000 volunteers are expected to serve during the event.

With the theme, "Take courage; I have conquered the world" (John 16:33), Seoul 2027 will showcase the vibrant faith of the Korean Church and bring together young Catholics from every continent in a powerful witness to Christ.
