PASIUNA:
Sa tinuoray makadayeg gayod kita sa tubag sa babayeng taga-Canaan. Ang iyang tubag maoy pagpadayag sa iyang dakong pagtuo ug halawom niyang pagpaubos, ingon man sa iyang malahutayon ug inahanong gugma sa iyang nag-antus nga anak babaye: "Tinuod ka, Sir, apan bisan gani ang mga iro makakaon man sa mga mumho nga mahulog gikan sa lamesa sa agalon" (Mateo 15:27). Dihadiha gipadayag ni Jesus nga niining iyang tubag nakapasar siya sa pagsulay, ug iyang gipakita nga ang tinuod nga gamut sa iyang pagkadako anaa diha sa yang pagtuo: "Inday, pagkadako sa imong pagsalig! Matuman ang imong gihangyo" (Mateo 15:28). Ang pagtuo ugang pagpaubos maghatag kanatog paag sa pagsulod ngadto sa walay kinutobang grasya nga dala ni JesuCristo. Kining babaye nga taga-Canaan maoy panig-ingnan alang sa tanang katawhan sa tanang panahon nga nangandoy nga "makighiusa sa ilang kaugalingon ngadto sa Ginoo" ug madala ngadto sa iyang balaang bukid. Siya mao ang sumbanan sa malahutayong pagtuo ug pagpaubos nga pinaagi niini nahimo usab kita nga mga anak ni Abraham, mga sakop sa banay sa kasabutan, ug sa ingon moambit sa mga panalangin sa Dios.

ug paglahutay diha sa akong relasyon sa Dios?

PASTUNA:
Ang sakayan sa atong personal nga kinabuhi mahimong gikusokuso usab sa dagkong mga balud sa kakuyaw, sa kalisdanan, sa pagkawala ug sa kaguol. Natural lang nga mataranta kita, apan si Cristo nga atoa sa langit nag-uban kanato, nagtan-aw pag-ayo kanato. Ang nagpungasi nga mga balud dili makapugong kaniya. Moabot siya ug naglakaw ibabaw sa mga balud nga nagkusokuso sa sakayan. Ug moingon siya, "Ayaw kamo kahadlok! Ako kini!" (Mateo 14:27).
PAMALANDONG:
Sa mga dagkong balud ug sa makusog nga hangin nga mokusokuso sa sakayan
sa akong kinabuhi, kang kinsa man ako misangpit ug midangop?
