Familiarity can make us overlook the miracle standing right in front of us. In Nazareth, they knew Jesus -- but they refused to believe in Him.

𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Many believers have lived with spiritual paralysis for so long that we have mistaken it for normal. We have learned to stay where we are, when God is calling us to 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻.

Acts 9:32-34 reminds us that Jesus does not merely visit the places where we are stuck -- 𝙃𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢. Aeneas had been bedridden for years, but one encounter with Christ changed his posture: “𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪. 𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙥.”

You were not called to remain spiritually paralyzed. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲. Your life should reflect the God you profess -- good, gracious, loving, powerful, and still able to do the miraculous.

So get up again. Wake up from spiritual numbness. Return to the secret place. Bend your knees. 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻.

You may have been down for years, but you don’t have to stay down.

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠.

John 6 reminds us that 𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢-𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚. It guarantees that the storm will never be the end of your story.

The storm did not mean they were lost.
The waves did not mean God had abandoned them.
The darkness did not mean Jesus was absent.

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗺.

And when Jesus came walking on the water, He did not come running from the storm.

𝗛𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.

That is the revelation:

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁.

The disciples were fighting against something they could not control, but Jesus was walking over the very thing that was frightening them.

There are storms your strength cannot silence.
There are waves your experience cannot calm.
There are situations your wisdom cannot fix.

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀.

When Jesus said, “𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙄; 𝙙𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙙,” the first thing He addressed was not the storm.

𝗛𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿.

Because sometimes Jesus does not immediately remove what is around you -- 𝗛𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

And when they received Him into the boat, they reached the shore.

So keep obeying even when the wind rises.
Keep trusting even when the waves become violent.
Keep moving even when you cannot see the shore.

Because being in the will of God does not mean you will never face storms. It means no storm can ultimately take you where God has not destined you to go.

The storm may be strong, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧.
The waves may be loud, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙧.
The waters may be beneath you, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙩.

Let Jesus into the boat.
The storm that terrifies you is the storm He walks on.

The crowd begged Jesus to leave their town.
The man Jesus delivered begged to go with Him.

The difference?
One group lost their pigs.
One man lost his chains.

You'll never value freedom until you've been the one set free.

Those who have never experienced deliverance often reject the Deliverer. But those who have been rescued know there is no place they'd rather be than in the presence of Jesus.

Leprosy was the visible picture of what sin does to the human soul.

In Jesus' day, a l***r lived in isolation, carried the label of "unclean," endured humiliation, and seemed beyond all hope. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀. It isolates us from God, stains us with guilt, leaves us broken, and convinces us that we are beyond redemption.

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣.

When everyone else stepped away from the l***r, Jesus stepped toward him. He did not merely speak healing from a distance -- He reached out and touched the untouchable. Then He declared,
"𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝘽𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣."

That declaration still echoes today.

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀' 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. His grace is stronger than your greatest failure. His mercy reaches further than your darkest shame. No sin is too filthy for His cleansing. No life is too broken for His restoration. No heart is too far gone for His redemption.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀. The same Christ who cleansed the l***r still heals, restores, and transforms lives today. You are not beyond His reach. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀. The chains of sin cannot withstand the power of His cross.

Come to Him in faith. Receive His touch. Believe His Word.

𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚.
