CHAPLET OF ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

Today, May 24 at 4:30 PM, we gathered at the Torino Family residence to honor St. Michael the Archangel and pray the chaplet in devotion to the holy image while seeking the archangel’s powerful intercession. Through the prayers offered in unity, everyone was strengthened in faith and encouraged to continue living a life centered on God.

We would like to sincerely thank the Torino Family for lovingly sheltering and caring for the image during its stay in their home.

After the prayer gathering, the image of St. Michael the Archangel was reverently transferred to the Patulot Family, who warmly welcomed the saint into their home as the new shelter of the image.

May St. Michael the Archangel continue to guide and protect our families and community. Through his faithful intercession, may we remain strong in faith, steadfast in prayer, and closer each day to our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we are reminded of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles—bringing courage, wisdom, and renewed faith. May the fire of the Holy Spirit continue to guide our hearts and strengthen us to live as faithful disciples of Christ.

Let us open our lives to God’s presence and become instruments of His love, peace, and truth in our daily lives.

CELEBRA | MAY 16, 2026

After a patient journey of arduously praising the Holy Cross, we are pleased to celebrate the beautiful ending of the Santacruzan with Ate Vicvic and Ate Aneth. In this tradition, we follow through the expedition of St. Helena (Santa Elena) to find the True Cross and rejoice in the victorious discovery of the Cross of Christ. Through this tradition, we spiritually participate in this victory and submit ourselves to Jesus and Mary by using hymns. In the climax of the story, we find the True Cross and joyfully dance to the tone of the Santa Clara hymn.

We offer our warmest thanks to Ate Vicvic, Ate Aneth, and family for welcoming this tradition in their home. We also send our gratitude to Flos Carmeli Choir and San Diego for supporting us and helping us. We also give our appreciation to Tayabas Heritage Channel for documenting and promoting this prayer tradition. We also thank the sponsors for providing financial support for this activity. Thank you also to the visitors who joined us.

May the Santacruzan spark a sense of unity and hope in us. Through the intercession of St. Helena and the Blessed Virgin Mary, may we all be guided towards Christ and share in His victory!

Today, May 14, we gathered in Sobreviñas residence for the twelfth day of Santacruzan, one of the wonderful and unique prayer traditions of Tayabas.

We give our warmest thanksgiving to Sobreviñas family. We also thank everyone who assisted and joined us in continuing this great tradition. We also thank our CM friends. We also thank Tayabas Heritage Channel for promoting and documenting this tradition.
