Jesus reminds us, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” The same Jesus who walked on the water is the One who is with us in the middle of our storms. His presence is greater than whatever problem is in front of us.

Self-control is not about being strong on our own. It is allowing the Holy Spirit to lead our thoughts, desires, decisions, and actions. Not every “yes” is obedience, and not every “no” is rejection. The real challenge is asking, “Lord, will this decision help me grow closer to You?” Sometimes, discipline means choosing what is good for our spirit over what feels good in the moment.

If God asks us to wait, it’s because His timing is always better than ours. And even when heaven feels silent, God has not left us. Sometimes His silence is an invitation to trust Him more deeply. So keep believing, keep praying, and keep holding on. The same God who is faithful in the waiting will also be faithful in the fulfillment of His promises.
