Ang selebrasyon pagasugdan pinaagi sa Balaan nga Misa sa Mayo 1, 2026 (Biyernes) alas 9:00 sa buntag, nga pagapangulohan ni Rev. Fr. Eric L. Bangcot, DCM.

YESTERDAY | 78th Fiesta of GKK Sr. San Vicente Ferrer

April 28, 2025 – Brgy. Dadong, Tarragona, Davao Oriental

Yesterday marked the opening of the 78th Fiesta of GKK Sr. San Vicente Ferrer, filled with thanksgiving and deep devotion to their beloved patron.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Alfredo Briones, SDV.

After the Mass, different apostolates had their photo opportunities, showing unity and joy in the celebration.

The 78th Fiesta stands as a testament to the enduring faith, unity, and commitment of the GKK in living out the example of their patron, San Vicente Ferrer.

In preparation for the Parish Day celebration this coming May 1, the San Pedro Claver Parish adopted a cluster-based approach in response to the current situation affecting large gatherings.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, together with the celebration of the Anointing of the Sick, was reverently held at GKK San Vicente Ferrer – Dadong, Tarragona, Davao Oriental with the participation of the faithful from the neighboring zones.

Though celebrated outside the parish church, the gathering remained a meaningful encounter of faith, as the community came together in prayer and in trust in God’s healing grace.

The Anointing of the Sick served as a source of spiritual strength and consolation, reminding the faithful that Christ continues to be present, especially to those who are suffering.
In these challenging times, the Church continues her mission of bringing hope, unity, and the compassionate love of Christ closer to every community.

In preparation for the Parish Day celebration this coming May 1, the Parish organized a Parish Day Activity using a cluster-based approach due to the current crisis on large gatherings. The event was held in GKK San Vicente Ferrer-Tomaong, Tarragona and was participated in by Zones 8, 9, and 10. Despite the limitations, the spirit of celebration remained alive through the meaningful observance of the Sacraments and the strengthening of the faith of the community. This initiative shows that even in challenging times, the Church continues to unite and serve with hope and devotion.
