Are you in love with JESUS? Or you’re just in love with your ministry? Are you devoted to JESUS? Or you’re just devoted to your spirituality? These are two different things.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤’ 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝.’

Kapag inalis ang good works, ministry, at sacrifices natin, kumusta ang puso natin sa harapan ng Panginoon? Makikita ba Nya na Siya ang nilalaman nito? That He remains to be our greatest treasure, our only focus, and our first love? Yung kahit mawala ang lahat, we remain strong and stable dahil si Jesus lang ang ginawa nating foundation, walang kahit na ano o kahit na sino.

Serving the Lord is good and it's expected of us, but our ministry doesn't define us. And yes, good works must be present in our lives, but they are not the ultimate goal or the end. Ang mahalaga sa Panginoon, more than anything, ay ang puso natin.

May we fall deeper in love with Jesus sincerely, day by day.

Always remember that even our "faith" could be an idol, if it’s not focused and built on the 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐍𝐄 who is 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐘 — and that is 𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐒 alone.

— “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment.” (Matthew 22:36-40)
