⛪Hello, May 2026!⛪

💭As Lay Leader Dr. Jovito Sermonia, Jr. reminds us:

Heritage is not just history—it is a living testimony of God’s grace, carried through generations and built firmly on Christ, our cornerstone.

Bible Verse:
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” — Ephesians 2:19–20 (NIV)

🌿Hello, May!
We welcome this new month with gratitude and celebration. As United Methodists, we pause to honor our heritage—not as mere dates or customs, but as a living story of faith, service, and love.

Our heritage is rooted in the passion for scriptural holiness, in radical openness to the poor and excluded, and in the conviction that every person is deeply loved by God. This is the story we inherit, and the mission we continue: to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Friends, May is not only a time to remember—it is a call to action. We are invited to embody the convictions of those who came before us: a costly love that reaches the margins, a faithful service that seeks justice and mercy, and a unity that holds us together across differences.

Let us be trustworthy stewards of this sacred story, writing new chapters with our lives so that generations yet to come will know the joy of belonging to God’s household—no longer strangers, but family in Christ.

🙏Prayer

Cornerstone Jesus, thank You for the gift of our Methodist heritage.
Help us to live boldly in Your love, serve faithfully in Your mission, and carry Your story into the future.
Make us builders of unity, justice, and mercy, grounded always in You.
Amen.

This May, may we:

✨Celebrate our living heritage
🌿Stand firm on Christ our cornerstone
❤️Serve with justice, mercy, and love
🌟Write new chapters of faith for generations to come
