Monday in the Octave of Easter

It has recently come to our attention that disturbing videos and images have been circulating on social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok. These posts involve a certain Katrina Miclat, along with other individuals, engaging in the abuse of cats.

We wish to categorically clarify to our community and the public that Katrina Miclat is a former server of our parish. She is no longer actively serving, and she does not represent our parish or its ministries in any capacity.

As a community of faith, we are called to be responsible stewards of all of God's creation. Hesus Mabuting Pastol Parish stands firm in its Christian values and does not condone any form of abuse, including any forms of animal abuse. We believe that all living creatures are a gift from God and deserve to be treated with care, compassion, and respect.

We encourage everyone to promote kindness and to report any illegal or abusive activities to the proper authorities so they may be handled appropriately.

We pray for our community and for a renewed sense of responsibility and compassion towards all of God's creatures.
