Isang makabuluhang araw ng pagkilala at pasasalamat ang ating naranasan sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Manggagawa!
Lubos nating ikinagagalak na ipahayag na ang AKKO (Alay Kapwa para sa Kabuhayan Organization) ng Caritas Tarlac ay pinagkalooban ng ₱500,000.00 mula sa DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) bilang panimulang puhunan para sa kanilang Sewing Business.
Ang paggawad ay ginanap sa Tarlac City Convention Center bilang bahagi ng selebrasyon ng Labor Day, na naglalayong palakasin ang kabuhayan ng ating mga komunidad at bigyang suporta ang mga organisasyong nagsusulong ng kaunlaran.
Ang biyayang ito ay magsisilbing daan upang makalikha ng mas maraming oportunidad sa trabaho at mapalago ang kabuhayan ng bawat kasapi ng AKKO. Patunay ito na sa tulong ng pagkakaisa at malasakit, mas napapalapit tayo sa isang mas maunlad at matatag na komunidad.
Maraming salamat sa DOLE at sa lahat ng katuwang sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa ating mga manggagawa. Mabuhay ang manggagawang Pilipino!

Alay Kapwa para sa Karunungan, the Educational Assistance Program (EAP) of Caritas Philippines in the Diocese of Tarlac, proudly recognized the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of its EAP scholars, as well as the generosity and commitment of their supportive tutors. This meaningful gathering served not only as a celebration of academic achievements but also as a testament to the spirit of solidarity and compassion that the program upholds.

The event began with the celebration of the Holy Mass, which set a solemn and reflective tone for the occasion. It was presided over by Fr. Owen Fernandez our Caritas Tarlac Assistant Director ,who emphasized the importance of gratitude, service, and continued pursuit of knowledge guided by faith.

Today: A meeting was held with the Tarlac City Federation of Persons with Disabilities to strengthen collaboration under the Bayanihan Alay Kapwa program of Caritas Philippines and Caritas Tarlac. The discussion focused on coordinating relief efforts, identifying the most urgent needs of persons with disabilities, and ensuring inclusive and accessible support during this time of crisis. Through this partnership, the initiative aims to uphold solidarity, dignity, and community-driven assistance for those most vulnerable.
