Every goodbye carries the quiet promise of a new beginning. As one chapter of your Priestly journey closes in our Parish, another unfolds in a community waiting to be touched by your Faith, guidance, and love.

Mong,

If it were up to us, we would ask you to stay.
For us, you have been more than our Parish Priestโ€”you have been a father, mentor, and guide whose presence has shaped our lives in countless ways. As members of the Kabataan ni San Juan, we are deeply grateful for your unwavering support, encouragement, and guidance throughout the years.

Thank you for believing in us and reminding us that our Faith should not only be practiced inside the Church but lived out every day. Through your homilies, conversations, and simple words of wisdom, you taught us how to become better disciples of Christ and better people. The lessons you shared became values we carried into our homes, schools, friendships, and daily lives.

That is why this goodbye is not an easy one.

We wish we had more time, more gatherings, more laughter, and more opportunities to serve alongside you.

But while our hearts wish you could remain with us, we know that God is calling you elsewhere. Another community needs your guidance, another parish awaits your shepherding heart, and more lives are waiting to be touched by your ministry.

Though you may be leaving Anao, Father, you will never truly leave the hearts of its people. The memories we shared, the faith we strengthened together, and the joy of serving God as one community will always remain with us.

And if one day, in the midst of your new journey, you happen to catch the sweet fragrance of an ylang-ylang flower, we hope it reminds you of Anaoโ€”of the memories, the laughter, the friendships, and the countless moments of grace we shared in this parish.

Remember the community that prayed with you, grew with you, and came to love you as family.

As you begin this new chapter, know that the seeds of faith you planted in us will continue to grow. Mahirap man po ang pamamaalam, we find comfort in knowing that this is not an ending, but another beginning in your journey of service to God.

Thank you, Father Charles, for your love, guidance, and faithful service.

You came to our parish as a Priest, but you leave as family.

With love, gratitude, and prayers,
