PRAYER ON ASCENSION SUNDAY
Lord Jesus Christ,
We praise and honor You on this holy day as You ascend into Heaven in triumphant glory. Though You are seated at the right hand of the Father, You did not leave us alone. You fulfilled Your promise and sent the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us.
As we look to the heavens, help us also to look around at the world You called us to serve. Give us the courage, wisdom, and grace to be Your hands and feet in our families, our communities, and to the ends of the earth.
Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon us. Transform our hearts, deepen our faith, and make us joyful witnesses of Your redeeming love. May we always live in the confident hope of Your glorious return.
We ask this in Your holy and precious name. Amen. ๐
