There’s Power in Sharing Your Story

In a letter to the Roman church, the apostle Paul the Apostle asks a series of simple but powerful questions in Epistle to the Romans 10:14:

“But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?”

Gusto ipaintindi ni Paul na ang mensahe ni Jesus kumakalat through people. Kadalasan, hindi nagsisimula ang faith sa malaking stage o dramatic event. Nagsisimula ito sa simpleng usapan. Isang kaibigan na nagshare kung paano siya tinulungan ni God sa darkest season niya. Isang family member na nagpatotoo kung paano siya binigyan ni Jesus ng peace kahit magulo ang buhay.

Somewhere, somehow, may nagkwento ng kabutihan ng Diyos at may buhay na nabago.

Sharing the Good News doesn’t mean kailangan perfect ka o alam mo lahat ng sagot. Sa buong Bible, madalas gamitin ni God ang ordinary at imperfect people na willing maging honest tungkol sa ginawa Niya sa buhay nila.

Hindi naman promise ni Jesus na magiging trouble free ang buhay. In fact, sinabi Niya na may struggles talaga. Pero mas malaki ang promise Niya: hindi Niya tayo iiwan habang pinagdadaanan natin ang lahat.

Maybe may naiisip kang tao ngayon. Isang kaibigan, kapamilya, o someone na pagod na sa buhay. Baka hindi nila kailangan ng perfect sermon. Baka kailangan lang nila makarinig ng totoong story of hope.

Kaya today, take one simple step. Magshare ka ng totoo tungkol sa ginawa ng Diyos sa buhay mo.

Because your story might become the reason someone finally sees Jesus.
