🌹 A Mother’s Love, Blessed from Above

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women who nurture us, guide us, and love us unconditionally. As we honor our earthly mothers, we look to the Virgin Mary—the ultimate model of a mother’s strength, patience, and devotion.

As the flowers begin to bloom, we turn our hearts to the most beautiful flower of all. May is officially here, and with it, the beautiful tradition of Flores de Mayo. ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀

It’s a time to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary—our mother, our guide, and our "Queen of May." Whether you’re offering a simple prayer or a handful of petals, let’s spend this month reflecting on her grace and maternal love. ⋆˚✿˖°

CHURCH NEWS | Bishop to Youth: Do Not Hide Your Failures, Bring Your Brokenness to Christ, Emptiness is Not Your Shame

Speaking at the opening Mass of Regional Youth Day 2026 at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Bishop Isabelo Abarquez of Calbayog urged young people to be honest about their failures, stressing that they are not something to conceal but to bring before Christ. He said moments of emptiness, disappointment, and inadequacy are where faith begins, reminding the youth that God meets them not in perfection, but in their struggles and brokenness.

Thank you all for showing up this Holy Week.

Your service, your quiet sacrifices, and your presence; they mattered more than you know.

God knows your sacrifices, even the ones no one saw.

Every early morning, every tired step, every silent “yes” you offered. He saw it all.

Deserve ninyo ang good rest and good coffee.

Happy Easter!
