Consequences of Impatience ⚠️

There are serious consequences for single women who don't choose to develop patience and wait on God's timing. Society is plagued with examples of disappointments. Some end up divorced, others emotionally separated from their spouses even though they live under the same roof. Some leave their children damaged because of the insecurities and fears that an unhealthy marriage causes. The loneliness and suffering that this lifestyle produces is indescribable anguish.

God doesn't want a woman to have to live like this.
👉 Impatience to find a man leads a woman to consider her "right" to date a man who isn't consecrated to God and not even a Christian. In Joshua 23:13 God warns his people not to marry unbelievers:

Marrying an "unbeliever" brings suffering to the Christian wife. As women we want to be known and loved for all that we are. A man who is spiritually dead can never know that spiritual part of you which is your heart.

👉 He will be blind to a lot of things you want to share with him. He will never get to know and understand you completely.

👉 Be careful when you start thinking you're "in love" and that you "can't live without him". Give it a second thought.

👉 Think about the loneliness you'll feel when your husband doesn't go to church with you. Think of the bitter distance that will be between the two because he will never understand your spiritual depth and therefore your convictions.

If you don't think about this now, you may one day think "before I could not live without him and now, I can hardly live with him"
