LAKBAY SAMA || New Evangelization Conference (NEC) 2026

Journeying together towards Christ, 46 youth ministers from the Parish of La Sagrada Familia joined the Diocesan New Evangelization Conference held on May 23, 2026, at Tarlac City Gymnatorium.

Participants engaged in various plenary talks, worship, and discussions emphasizing synodality—journeying together as one family in Christ.

The conference also emphasized the
importance of the family as a domestic church in attaining synodality (sama-samang paglalakbay). Fostering love, building unity, and increasing community
involvement can all begin within the family

May this conference serve as a powerful reminder to deepen the understanding of evangelization and strengthen the collective mission to walk together, as one Church, one family, and one mission.

“You are not just catechists, you are called to become witnesses of our Faith”

With the theme "Catechists: Witnesses of Faith, Bearers of Hope and Love," twenty-four (24) LSF-PYM joined and completed the Diocesan Summer Volunteer Catechists Seminar 2026 held on the 13th-17th of April at San Sebastian Cathedral School (SSCS).

For the succeeding years in your formations, may you have always shown your commitment, dedication, and a heart ready to share the Word.

Your journey does not end here—always respond to God's call, always have the willingness to undergo formations, and have the courage to share all learnings you have learned not just with your fellow youth minister but with the whole LSF parish community 💜🥰

Today, we honor the first-ever graduate from our very own parish, Bro. Roberto C. Casal Jr., who has completed his studies in philosophy at the Our Lady of Peace College Seminary in the Diocese of Tarlac.

Your perseverance in formation is a beautiful witness of faith and dedication to God’s call.

We are praying that all you have learned will continue to mold your heart as you journey closer to your next mission.

In our preparation for the fast-approaching Holy Week 2026,which will start on March 29, 2026 (Palm Sunday), the LSFPYM is conducting a fundraising activity through the sale of Palaspas.

All proceeds from this activity will be allotted to youth formation and activities inside and outside the parish.

For pre-orders, you may reach out to your designated BPCs or to whoever LSFPYM in your barangays.

As we come together on Shrove Tuesday,
we are reminded of the significance of
genuine conversion and repentance as we get ready for the sacred season of Lent.

May this day inspire us to confess, renew,
and deepen our commitment to walk faithfully with the Lord.

The palms we waved in joy on Palm Sunday turn to ashes—a reminder that every closing sacred chapter prepares us for renewal.

Lord, make our hearts humble and ready for You 💜
