Presiding a Mass marking the 75th anniversary of the Diocese of Capiz and the 50th anniversary of its elevation as an archdiocese, papal nuncio Archbishop Charles Brown said jubilees should inspire Catholics not only to remember the past but also prepare for the future.

BLESSED at 75 & 50!

The Archdiocese of Capiz has ended its double celebrations, 75 years as a Diocese and 50 years as an Archdiocese. We capped it with grateful hearts and persevering faith.

As the good Cardinal Archbishop of Manila, His Eminence, JOSE CARDINAL ADVINCULA, Jr., preached on GRATITUDE, GRACE, and GROWTH, may we always live with grateful hearts for God's unending grace; may we become channels of His divine grace that gives us hope; and inspire us to aspire for greater heights all for His greater glory.

Let us move forward and carry within us the MISSION God has entrusted to us: "to bear much fruit, a fruit that will last." AMEN.
