𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪? The 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 (𝘚𝘪𝘦𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘺𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴) is found only in the 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, particularly around freshwater streams and forest habitats of northern Palawan. It was once mistakenly thought to come from Leyte, but later research confirmed that its true home is Palawan. Sadly, it is classified as Critically Endangered.

Its story is a quiet reminder that being overlooked does not mean being forgotten.

There may be seasons when we feel stuck, uncertain, or like our progress is too slow. But reminds us that God is not measuring our lives by how fast we move. He invites us to pause, breathe, and trust Him with the journey.

Sometimes, faith means taking another step. Sometimes, faith means simply resting and allowing God to restore what has been worn down.

Whatever this week has brought you, you don't have to carry it all today. There is grace for where you are, and there is hope for where God is leading you.

The recent flooding in Nepal caused hundreds of people’s death and more than a thousand missing.

Let us pray that the country will be able to stand up again from this unprecedented situation, with God on their side.

“The daily record of disasters shows that there is no safety anywhere. Even in our homes we are in danger; for storms, floods, and fire are sweeping off thousands, while earthquakes are destroying additional thousands. If there ever was a time when we should be sober and watch unto prayer, it is now. Our lives are safe only when hid with Christ in God. We need every day to purify ourselves even as He is pure. There is always hope for us in God. Faith is our defense, for it connects our human weakness with divine power.” —Review and Herald, January 29, 1884.

After 47 meaningful years since its establishment, the Mulawin Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated its anniversary for the very first time on August 15, 2026—a historic milestone filled with gratitude, faith, and joy.

Through the years, the church has continued to thrive in faith, service, fellowship, and love for one another, faithfully carrying forward the mission entrusted to us.

As we celebrate this special occasion, let us look back on the humble beginnings of our church and remember the journey that brought us to where we are today—a journey shaped by the faithfulness of God and by generations of brethren who served, worshiped, sacrificed, and grew together.

May the story of our past inspire us to remain steadfast in the present and hopeful for the future, as we continue to Keep the Light Burning for generations to come. 🕯️✨
