The silence of the morning intensified the PRESENCE of the HOLY SPIRIT today as we celebrate the PENTECOST SUNDAY — the Birth of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

Here is ESPIRITUNG BANAL by Fr. Randy Agner, C.M., a song of humble surrender to the Holy Spirit for our spiritual growth and strength.

SOLEMNITY OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD

Today, Jesus had fulfilled His mission on Earth. He returns to Our Father’s Kingdom and gives the apostles the task to go and make disciples of all nations.

For our recessional hymn, we joyously sang PAGBABASBAS by Hangad, as we acknowledge the limitless greatness of God while we humbly ask His comfort and grace for us who gather at His altar. Here is an excerpt of the song as we reflect how God humbled Himself to reach humanity so that we may be worthy of His Glory.

Have a blessed an meaningful Ascension Sunday! ❤️‍🔥

“Puso ko'y pahimlayin inay, upang yaring hamog ng gabing tiwasay ay madama ko bilang damping halik ng 'yong Anak ay irog kong inay…”

Prayerful greetings to all Mothers who never ceased on nurturing us to be selfless servants of the Lord.

Here is an excerpt of the soulful song, “INAY” by Himig Heswita, a heartfelt hymn to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Mother, asking for her protection and finding peace in the warmth of her embrace.

Happy Mother’s Day, to all our beloved mothers ♥️💐🌸

And just like that, ISANG HIMIG is bound for Occidental Mindoro this Good Shepherd Sunday! ❤️‍🔥

How amaaaazing was that?

“Salmo 23” is included in the Isang Himig Album. Often referred to as "The Lord is My Shepherd," is one of the most well-known of all the psalms. According to tradition, this psalm was written by King David. The psalm speaks of the Shepherd sheep relationship of God and man. God, who lovingly guides, nurtures and defends his flock, and man who adores God's shepherding — He who lays down His life and calls His followers by name.

Today’s Gospel, THE ROAD TO EMMAUS (Luke 24:13-35)

A significant post-resurrection story where a disguised Jesus joined two disciples walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus. They were already losing hope and filled with sadness, thinking it was the end of Salvation when Jesus died on the Cross. But through the sacred encounter where Jesus showed Himself, He set the hearts aflamed again to the way, the truth, and the life, that He is Risen and we are saved.

Despite hardships and all other things that bring our spirits down, this is a reminder to us that the Lord remains faithful to His promises at all times, through His own will.

Here is an excerpt of “ALAB”, through the intricately crafted Music and Lyrics by Elliot Eustacio and Ryza Martinez Solaña, the Official Diocesan Synod Theme Song of the Diocese of Imus (MusiCaviteño).

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
— John 20:29

Doubting Thomas | Divine Mercy Sunday

Human as we are, we doubt and seek certainty before we believe just like St. Thomas the Apostle who requested physical proof of the wounds of Jesus following His resurrection. Jesus remarked that while Thomas believed through sight, a higher blessing rests on those who believe without seeing.

As we celebrate the Divine Mercy Sunday today, we are invited to trust without seeing, to follow without knowing, and to love without seeing as our response to the mercy already granted to us.

JESUS, WE TRUST IN YOU.
