A newborn does not need to be persuaded to hunger. In the same way, believers grow by receiving God’s Word with a gospel-awakened appetite. Scripture is not a self-help supplement; it is where the Spirit shows us Christ, exposes our sin, strengthens faith, and feeds obedience. Come hungry—not to master the Bible, but to be mastered by its Lord.

Are you growing, or are you simply staying familiar with God?

Spiritual growth is more than knowing Bible verses or attending church. As we walk closer with God, His Word should shape our character, choices, and obedience.

Time in church does not automatically produce maturity. Hebrews warns believers who had years of exposure to truth but still needed the basics. We grow only as Christ’s Word moves from something we merely hear to truth we trust, obey, and teach. Ask today: Has the gospel merely informed me—or is Christ transforming me?

In a world filled with uncertainty, God remains our unshakable refuge. He is not merely someone we turn to in times of crisis but the secure dwelling place for all who trust in Him. In His presence, we find peace that steadies our hearts, strength for every trial, and rest for our weary souls.

As we reflected on Psalm 91:1–16, we were reminded that our confidence is not rooted in favorable circumstances but in the character and faithfulness of God. Those who take refuge in Him are never outside His care.

Take a moment to revisit last Sunday's sermon notes and be encouraged by the promises of God's Word.

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."

The children were encouraged to trust God, and were reminded that they are never alone. God is always with them. They may not see God with their eyes, but He is always near. When they are scared, God can give them courage. When they are weak, He gives them
strength. When they don't know what to do, they can pray and trust Him. ✝️

Ang makapangyarihang paalala na ang tunay na seguridad ay matatagpuan sa Diyos. Hindi nito ipinapangakong wala nang problema o panganib, ngunit ipinapakita nito na sa gitna ng anumang pagsubok, may Diyos tayong kanlungan, tagapagtanggol, at maaasahan.
Ang Panginoon ang ating kanlungan, ating lilim, at ating kublihan. Hindi tayo dapat matakot sapagkat alam natin Kasama natin Siya sa bawat pagsubok. ✝️❤️

Sa gitna ng takot, panganib, at mga bagay na hindi natin kayang kontrolin, mayroon tayong ligtas na kanlungan sa Diyos. Ang tunay na seguridad ay hindi nakasalalay sa ating sariling lakas kundi sa katapatan at kapangyarihan ng Diyos na ating pinagtitiwalaan.

Samahan kami ngayong Linggo sa JRAM Asia Church Online habang ating pag-aaralan ang mensaheng "Finding Refuge in God" mula sa Awit 91:1-16. Nawa'y palalimin ng Diyos ang ating pagtitiwala sa Kanya at ipaalala sa atin na ang Kanyang presensya ang ating tunay na kanlungan sa bawat panahon.
