Our last destination was the The National Shrine and Parish of the Divine Mercy Philippines, Marilao, Bulacan.
Despite the heavy traffic and relentless rain, we were warmly welcomed by Bro. Vince, whose hospitality made us feel right at home. As we entered the shrine, a profound sense of peace embraced us. The silence of the sanctuary offered a much-needed moment of rest, inviting us to simply be still in the presence of the Lord.
After exploring the beautiful grounds, we shared a simple yet comforting meal of hot lugaw and tokwa't baboyโa fitting end to a long day of pilgrimage.
As our pilgrimage came to an end, we reflected on its deeper meaning. As devotees of the Blessed Virgin Mary, every journey we make should ultimately lead us to her Son. Mary's mission has always been to bring us closer to Jesus.
In every church we visited, every story we heard, every person we met, and every challenge we encountered along the wayโeven the rainโwe were gently reminded of this truth: our destination is not merely a place, but a Person.
Jesus is our rest. Jesus is the Bread of Life who satisfies every hunger. Jesus is the Divine Mercy in whom we place all our trust.
May this pilgrimage continue to bear fruit in our lives, inspiring us to become faithful witnesses of Christ through the loving guidance of our Blessed Mother.
Jesus, I trust in You.
Nuestra Seรฑora del Pilar, pray for us. ๐
