Tomorrow is Pentecost Sunday 🔥
What does that mean?
What is Pentecost?
Pentecost is the day we remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 and the birth of the New Testament Church. ⛪️
After Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, His followers gathered together in prayer waiting for the promise He gave them — the Holy Spirit.
Then suddenly…
Wind filled the house. 💨Tongues of fire appeared. 🔥The Holy Spirit filled believers. ⛪️And fearful disciples became bold witnesses. ⛓️💥
Pentecost reminds us that Christianity was never meant to be lived in human strength alone. 💪
The Holy Spirit empowers us to:• live holy lives• boldly witness for Jesus• love people deeply• and carry the Gospel into the world
And one of the most beautiful parts of Pentecost is this:people from many nations heard the wonders of God proclaimed in their own languages.
From the very beginning, the Gospel was for everyone.
Every tribe.Every tongue.Every nation.
Pentecost is not just about an event that happened long ago. 🕰️
It’s a reminder that the same Holy Spirit still fills, empowers, transforms, and sends believers today. 🙌❤️
