🌅 Easter Sunday

Then comes the morning that changes everything. The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. Death has been defeated, and hope rises with the dawn. In many communities, the Hugos is celebrated, where children sing to welcome the Risen Christ, and the black veil of Mama Mary is lifted, revealing the joy of the Resurrection.

"He is not here; He has risen, just as He said." — Matthew 28:6

Easter is the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and love over sin. What began with palms and praise ends with resurrection and eternal hope. ✝️🌅

🕯️ Black Saturday

Mass| Pag-Bag o sa Tubig ug Kalayo-5:30 pm

The cross is now empty, but the tomb is sealed. The disciples grieve, confused and afraid. It is a day of waiting, a day where hope seems distant. During the Vigil, the Church celebrates the blessing and renewal of water and fire (pagbag-o sa tubig ug kalayo), symbols of purification, renewal, and the light of Christ that overcomes darkness.

"The women rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment." — Luke 23:56

Black Saturday reminds us that sometimes faith means waiting in the quiet. God often works in the unseen moments when the world feels still.

✝️ Good Friday
The day grows dark. The crowd that once shouted “Hosanna” now cries out for crucifixion. Jesus carries the cross through pain and humiliation, walking a path that leads to Calvary. On this solemn day, the faithful reflect on the Seven Last Words of Jesus, meditating on His final messages of forgiveness, mercy, and love.

There, on the cross, love is stretched between heaven and earth.

"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." — Luke 23:46

Good Friday is the most solemn moment of the story. It is filled with grief, silence, and unimaginable sacrifice. Yet within that suffering lies the deepest expression of love the world has ever known.

🍞 Maundy Thursday

✝️Stations of the Cross | 4:00 am
⛪Mass| The last Supper - 5:30 pm

As evening falls, Jesus gathers with His disciples for the Last Supper. It is a moment filled with love, humility, and deep meaning. The Teacher kneels to wash the feet of His followers, showing that true leadership is rooted in service. On this day, many faithful also pray the Stations of the Cross, reflecting on the path Jesus walked for humanity.

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you." — John 13:34

Bread is broken. A cup is shared. Words are spoken that will echo through generations. Maundy Thursday reminds us that love is not just spoken, it is lived through humility, service, and sacrifice.

🔎Spy Wednesday
This day carries a quieter and heavier tone. Often called the day of betrayal, it reminds us of the moment Judas chose to hand Jesus over. Many also spend this day in prayer, including the Anointing of the Sick, asking God for healing, strength, and mercy.

"Then one of the Twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests." — Matthew 26:14

It is a painful reminder of how fragile human loyalty can be. Yet even in betrayal, the story does not fall apart. God’s purpose continues to unfold. Holy Wednesday teaches us that even when people fail, God’s plan of redemption still moves forward.

📖 Holy Tuesday
Jesus spends this day teaching in the temple courts. Through parables and conversations, He speaks about truth, faith, humility, and love. Many listened, some questioned, and others tried to challenge Him.

Yet in the midst of it all, He reminds everyone of the greatest commandment:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." — Matthew 22:37

Holy Tuesday calls us back to the center of faith. Beyond rules, beyond debates, beyond rituals. At its core, faith is love.
