𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲
The Tangalan Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, part of the Kalibo Stake, celebrated a significant milestone today, Sunday, November 16, 2025, with the baptism of Andrei Marcilla Traje.
The sacred service, held at the Tangalan Chapel, was presided over by President Darwin T. Tapayan, the Tangalan Branch President. Brother Oliver M. Molo, Second Counselor in the Branch Presidency, conducted the meeting.
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
The ordinance of baptism was performed by Brother Oliver D. Molo Jr., symbolizing Brother Andrei Marcilla Traje's covenant to follow Jesus Christ.
Following the baptism, Brother Traje was confirmed a member of the Church and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost. This sacred ordinance of confirmation was performed by President Darwin T. Tapayan.
𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮
The program included several inspiring talks to instruct attendees and the new convert: Sister Sarah D. Molo spoke on the topic of Baptism; Marisol Vallejo spoke on the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
A powerful highlight of the service was the testimony shared by the newly baptized member, Brother Andrei Marcilla Traje.
President Tapayan offered the closing remarks, emphasizing the importance of the covenants made. The service concluded with the hymn, “How Firm a Foundation,” and a closing prayer by Sister Rovelina Vallejo.
The Tangalan Branch extends a warm welcome to Brother Andrei Marcilla Traje as he begins his journey as a member of the Church.
