𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡, 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧, 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧! 💙✨

‎The journey continues! Day 2 of the SEMJA CYF Onboarding & Turnover Ceremony brought meaningful learning, deeper connections, and a stronger commitment to serve at UCCP Toril, Davao City.
‎
‎We started the day with a Morning Devotion facilitated by Kristine Kate Berdin, reflecting on the journey “From Small Groups to Big Group.”
‎
‎The morning continued with the Roles and Responsibilities Orientation, covering Administration, Community and Ecumenical work facilitated by Kuya Bayan, and Finance by Ate Noreen. This was followed by the presentation of the Synchronized Program facilitated by the SEMJA Admin Officers and the Budget Allocation led by the Finance Team.

‎In the afternoon, Coleen Fuentes, ADC CYF President and SEMJA Secretary, led HIV 101, featuring a symposium and HIV-free screening that promoted awareness, understanding, and care.
‎
‎The day then came alive through an energetic Team Building facilitated by Kristine Kate Berdin and our National Speakers, creating moments of laughter, teamwork, and stronger fellowship.
‎
‎As the day came to a close, we gathered for Solidarity and Commitment Night, reflecting on Mark 8:34–35 and Christ’s call to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.

‎New faces, new connections, and a renewed call to serve! The SEMJA CYF Onboarding & Turnover Ceremony officially begins at UCCP Toril, Davao City.
‎
‎Day 1 was filled with moments of worship, fellowship, learning, and getting to know one another. We started with Opening Worship BTR with CM Amy Rafalez, carrying the theme “Walking Through Jesus: Journeying with the Anawim.”
‎
‎The day continued with Paila² / Group Dynamics: “Getting to Know Each Other with a Twist,” followed by a meaningful session with CM Jolly Tubo of ADC Agusan District Conference on the CYF roles and UCCP VMGO. 🤝📖
‎
‎With fellowship over lunch and dinner, Day 1 became more than just an onboarding. It became the first step toward building a stronger community of young people committed to serving God and others.

HONORING OUR SHEPHERDS | PASTORS’ APPRECIATION SUNDAY

Today, we celebrate and honor the pastors and retired pastors of the Associate Conference of Surigao—faithful servants who have devoted their lives to shepherding God’s people, proclaiming His Word, and serving His Church with love, wisdom, and dedication.

To our pastors, thank you for continuing to answer God’s call. To our retired pastors, thank you for the years of faithful ministry and the legacy of faith you have left for the generations that follow. Your service continues to inspire us, and your lives remain a testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness.

Happy Pastors’ Appreciation Sunday! May God continue to bless, strengthen, and honor our shepherds—both those who faithfully serve today and those whose years of ministry have helped shape the Church we have today.

YOUTH SUNDAY | YOUTH WEEK 2026 CELEBRATION

Different local churches, different stories, and different gifts came together as one in celebrating Youth Sunday 2026, guided by the theme, "Walking with Jesus; Journeying with the Anawim". More than a celebration, this gathering was a beautiful expression of faith, fellowship, and service as young people united to worship, learn, share their gifts, and grow together in Christ. To every Christian Youth Fellowship, youth leader, volunteer, and young person who took part, thank you for sharing your time, energy, talents, and passion. Every prayer, song, smile, and act of service made this celebration a meaningful testimony of God’s work through the youth.

May the message of this year’s theme continue to live beyond the celebration and inspire us in our daily walk with Christ. May we continue to look beyond the walls of our local churches, embrace our differences, strengthen our fellowship, and faithfully respond to God’s call to serve. As young people united by one faith and one purpose, may we continue to be instruments of hope, love, and transformation in our churches and communities. Together, let us keep walking, worshiping, and serving as one body in Christ.
