“Not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

Forgiveness is not about keeping count; it is about choosing mercy again and again. As the Lord has forgiven us with boundless love, may we also learn to let go of resentment, heal wounded hearts, and forgive without limits.

Lord, teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us.

VIVA SAN NICOLAS DE TOLENTINO!

The Diocese of Tandag joyfully celebrates the 404th Patronal Fiesta of San Nicolas de Tolentino Cathedral-Tandag City with the theme:

“Salamat-Saulog sa Gasa sa Pagtuo Dinasig ni San Nicolas de Tolentino.”

Together with the priests and parish representatives from across the diocese, Most Rev. Raul B. Dael, D.D., Bishop of Tandag, led the faithful in this joyful celebration of thanksgiving and communion.

In his homily, Bishop Raul reflected on the significance of this celebration as part of the preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Diocese of Tandag in 2028. This year marks the second year of the three-year preparation, with 2026 dedicated as the “Salamat-Saulog” Year: Tuig sa Pagtuo (Year of Faith)—a time to give thanks for the gift of faith received, nurtured, and lived through the years.

The celebration also reminds the faithful of our mission as a Church:

“Misyonerong Simbahan, Duyog-Panaw sa Kabag-ohan” — a missionary Church that journeys together with the people, faithfully responding to the signs of the times and embracing the challenges and opportunities of a new era.

May the example of San Nicolas de Tolentino, our patron, continue to inspire us to deepen our faith, walk together as one Church, and joyfully proclaim the Gospel in the world.
