β€œIf your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”
β€” Exodus 33:15

Moses understood a powerful truth: it’s not the place, the opportunity, or the blessing that truly mattersβ€”it’s God’s presence. When God is with us, we have guidance, favor, peace, and rest.

In Exodus 33:13–17, Moses didn’t just ask for direction. He asked for God Himself. And the Lord responded with a promise:
"I will personally go with you, and I will give you rest."

When God’s presence is with us, it sets us apart from the world. It becomes the mark of His favor in our lives.

What we must do:
1️⃣ Seek God’s presence, not just His blessings – Desire Him more than what He can give.
2️⃣ Let His presence set you apart – Live differently as His child.
3️⃣ Hold on to God’s promises – Like Moses, stand on His Word.
4️⃣ Rest in God’s β€œI will” – His promise brings peace and assurance.
5️⃣ Pursue intimacy with God – He knows you by name.

When God walks with you, everything changes. His presence brings favor, distinction, and true rest.

It’s our way of saying, β€œGod, You come first.” Not leftovers. Not what’s extra. But our first and our best. It’s about trust, gratitude, and believing that when we put Him first, He takes care of the rest (Book of Proverbs 3:9–10).
