The MAS AMICUS NEMSU Tandag Chapter is truly blessed and grateful to have joined the MAS AMICUS SCM-WIDE FELLOWSHIP held at Lianga Church last May 9โ€“10, 2026.

Our hearts are filled with joy as we experienced meaningful worship services, inspiring lectures, spiritual fellowship, fun-filled activities, and exciting sports participation that strengthened not only our bodies but also our faith and unity as young people for Christ.

This fellowship became a wonderful reminder that serving God together brings encouragement, growth, and lasting friendships.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who extended their love, prayers, and generous support to make this activity successful:
๐Ÿ’™ Hon. Elder Jimmy Guinsod โ€“ SDS Provincial IPMR, for the fuel assistance
๐Ÿ’™ Mr. and Mrs. Gabi, for the transportation support
๐Ÿ’™ Engr. Gladine Lumancas โ€“ Internal Adviser
๐Ÿ’™ Kuya Jinggoi Revilleza โ€“ External Adviser
๐Ÿฉต Ate Sarame Bareng
๐Ÿ’™ And to all other individuals who contributed and supported this fellowship in any way, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.

May the Lord richly bless you all for supporting the ministry and mission of the youth.

We CONTINUE, because the MISSION continues!

๐Ÿ“–WEEK OF PRAYER โ€“ DAY 5

Tonight, we were blessed by the message of Sis. Cristine Mae Platino centered on the theme โ€œOne Calling.โ€ Her message reminded us that despite our different backgrounds, personalities, and platforms, we share one divine calling โ€” to reflect Christ and impact lives for His kingdom.

She pointed out that social media, though powerful in uniting people across distances, also has its negative impacts. It can create isolation, comparison, and even become a platform for cyberbullying. What is meant to connect can sometimes divide. As Christians, we are challenged to use every platform responsibly and purposefully โ€” not to harm, but to uplift and bring people closer to Christ.

Drawing from the life of Peter the Apostle, she shared how God used him to unite two groups that were once divided โ€” the Jews and the Gentiles. Peter responded to Godโ€™s mission beyond his comfort zone, becoming an instrument of unity and transformation. His story reminds us that when we answer Godโ€™s call, we can influence and impact many lives.

Though tonightโ€™s attendance was fewer than usual, the message remained strong and meaningful. God does not measure commitment by numbers, but by hearts willing to respond. We continue, because the mission continues.

To our MAS AMiCUS family, we warmly encourage everyone to attend tomorrowโ€™s culmination program of our Week of Prayer. We will be blessed by a special message from our internal adviser. Let us finish this week united in our one calling.

๐Ÿ“– WEEK OF PRAYER โ€“ NIGHT 4

Tonight, our MAS AMiCUS family was once again blessed through the message of Bro. Jerald Berdera entitled โ€œQuiet Strength.โ€

The message was anchored in the story of Peter the Apostle, a disciple known for his boldness, impulsiveness, and moments of weakness. Through Peterโ€™s journey, we saw how self-control is developed not overnight, but through encounters, failures, correction, and grace from Jesus Christ.

Bro. Jerald emphasized that true strength is quiet. It is not shown in loud reactions or uncontrolled anger, but in the ability to respond with patience and restraint. Peter once acted out of impulse, yet through Christโ€™s transforming work, he became a leader who demonstrated maturity and courage grounded in self-control.

We were reminded that anger, when left unchecked, can harm relationships and weaken our witness. While emotions are real, they should not rule us. Quiet strength means choosing understanding over pride and extending grace even when we feel hurt or misunderstood.

Self-control is not weakness yet it is inner strength shaped by God.

Tonight, we leave challenged to grow in patience, to guard our reactions, and to reflect Christ not only in our words but in how we respond.

WEEK OF PRAYER โ€“ DAY 2 & 3 in one Evening.

Since there was no Week of Prayer yesterday due to holiday, today became a special gathering for our MAS AMiCUS family as we were blessed with two meaningful messages in one evening.

Sis. Mary Grace Cahiyang shared the message โ€œHidden Thirst,โ€ reflecting on the story of the Samaritan Woman. She reminded us that behind our daily routines, responsibilities, and even our smiles, there can be a deep spiritual thirst that only Jesus Christ can satisfy. The world offers temporary relief, but only the Living Water brings lasting fulfillment.

Bro. Jerwin Canton followed with the message โ€œBlinding Light,โ€ based on the conversion of Paul the Apostle. His story teaches us that God can use even a blinding moment to awaken us spiritually. When we truly encounter Christ, we are called to turn from wrong to right, from pride to surrender, and from our old ways into a transformed life.

After the messages, AMiCUS gathered into small groups for a reflective discussion. Many shared personal insights and experiences, making the evening not just a program but a time of honest reflection and spiritual growth. We also had an intercessory prayer by group, lifting up one anotherโ€™s burdens, praying for personal struggles, families, studies, and spiritual journeys. It was a solemn and meaningful moment of standing in prayer for each other.

Tonight, we go home refreshed and spiritually full, grateful for how God continues to work in our lives. As the Week of Prayer continues, we look forward to what He will do next.

WEEK OF PRAYER โ€“ DAY 1

What a powerful and Spirit-filled start to our Week of Prayer with our beloved MAS AMiCUS family!

Tonight, Bro. Windellmar Mindo delivered an inspiring message about the unexpected change in the life of Zacchaeus.
When Jesus Christ encountered Zacchaeus, everything changed. Zacchaeus didnโ€™t fix himself first. He didnโ€™t clean up his life before coming to Jesus. Instead, he simply responded to the call.

A powerful reminder for all of us:
We donโ€™t need to fix ourselves before coming to God.
We just need to come as we are and where we are.
When God justifies, He also sanctifies.
He doesnโ€™t only forgive, He transforms.

To our MAS AMiCUS family and friends, this is just the beginning!
Donโ€™t miss Day 2 tomorrow and the rest of the Week of Prayer. Invite your friends, classmates, and loved ones.

Letโ€™s experience together the transforming power of Jesus throughout this week.
Come and be blessed. Come and be changed. ๐Ÿ™โœจ
