Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

With hearts filled with faith and joy, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, rejoicing in the glorious mystery of her being taken body and soul into the glory of Heaven.

Mary, the humble Handmaid of the Lord, who faithfully journeyed with Christ from the manger to the Cross, now shares in the glory of her Son. Her Assumption reminds us that those who place their lives entirely in God’s hands are never forgotten, but are called to share in His eternal glory.

On this blessed solemnity, may Mary, our Mother and Queen, draw us ever closer to Jesus. May her unwavering “yes” to God inspire us to live with deeper faith, steadfast hope, and selfless love.
