Glamour met gratitude as delegates dressed in sparkle and style, celebrating not just the night, but the mission. Honoring present and former Vicariate Youth Leaders for their years of service, we witnessed that true leadership shines when it serves.

𝐃𝐘𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The final day of the Diocesan Youth Congress was sealed with grace and joy.

From the prayerful Rosary and the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Ronald M. Josoy, to the awarding of winners and certificates of participation for every vicariate, each moment reminded us that faith unites, strengthens, and sends us forth.

As the Flame of Hope was handed to every delegate, the mission continues: to carry the light of Christ beyond this congress and let it shine in our families, parishes, and communities.

𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 & 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

Day 3 was a living witness that hope is alive and faith is growing. Through heartfelt testimonies, we were reminded that no sickness, crisis, or brokenness is beyond God’s redeeming love. These witnesses proclaimed a truth louder than despair: the Cross was not the end, the empty tomb is real, and hope never fails when anchored in Christ.

But hope was not only spoken; it was lived. Our youth laughed, learned, and formed bonds that crossed chapels and towns. They discovered that faith and fun can go hand in hand, sharing stories, building friendships, and even using social media with purpose. Hearts were formed, bonds strengthened, and hope made visible.

On the third day of the Diocesan Youth Congress, we were blessed to be led to the heart of our faith, the Eucharist. Presided by Most Rev. Raul B. Dael, DD, the Holy Mass reminded us that in the breaking of bread, we find strength, unity, and hope.

𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐙𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍

In the peaceful stillness of DYC 2025, BaTa gathered under the soft glow of candles for a night of Taizé, hearts resting in prayer, voices echoing songs of hope, and souls opening to God’s mercy. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Christ’s healing love was poured out upon the youth, with several priests hearing confessions, among them our beloved shepherd, Most Rev. Raul B. Dael, D.D., Bishop of Tandag. A holy night where grace overflowed, and shepherd and flock alike encountered the tender embrace of the Lord.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 | 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄

Our hearts were moved beyond words.

The DYC 2025 delegates went beyond the walls of the parish and into the heart of the community. Divided into seven chapels and three humble missions, they brought Christ’s love in simple yet profound ways:

𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚: Sitting with families, knocking on doors not just to visit, but to listen, to hear their stories, their struggles, their hopes.

𝐩𝐚𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐲𝐚: Cooking pansit with their own hands and sharing it with the very families they visited, a small meal, yet a great reminder that love is best served when shared.

𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒: Bending down to clean the surroundings of the chapel and community, a quiet act of service, but one that speaks loudly of faith in action.

It was a day that broke hearts open, seeing lives as they are, feeling their pain and joy, and realizing that Christ is most present in the simple, the poor, the little ones. Grabe ka makabuluhan ang activity; it taught us that our mission is not only to speak about God, but to be His hands and heart to others.

All for Christ. All for the youth. All for His people.
