GOLDEN JUBILEE TRIENNIUM CELEBRATION HYMN COMPOSITION CONTEST

As part of the preparations for the Golden Jubilee of the Diocese of Tandag, the Diocesan Music Ministry, headed by Rev. Fr. John Philip Lozada, successfully conducted the Golden Jubilee Triennium Celebration Hymn Composition Contest, inviting the parish music ministries of the diocese to share their God-given talents through sacred music.

We congratulate all the winners and participants whose compositions reflect the faith, history, and mission of our local Church.

The Diocese of Tandag extends its heartfelt gratitude to the panel of judges, the parish music ministries, the clergy, and all who supported this endeavor. In a special way, we thank Bishop Raul B. Dael for his encouragement and unwavering support in promoting sacred music as an expression of faith and communion within the diocese.

May these hymns continue to inspire our journey toward the celebration of the Diocese's Golden Jubilee.

Today, June 16, 2026, we joyfully celebrate 48 years of God's faithfulness and grace upon the Diocese of Tandag. Since its canonical er****on in 1978, our diocese has continued to grow as a community of faith, hope, and charity, guided by devoted shepherds and sustained by the prayers and sacrifices of the faithful.

As we give thanks for the blessings of the past 48 years, may we continue to walk together as one Church, committed to proclaiming the Gospel and serving God's people with renewed zeal and missionary spirit.

"The Eucharist is God's way of saying: 'I am here for you.'"

In his homily for the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, Bishop Raul B. Dael reminded the faithful that the Eucharist is God's enduring presence among His people. Presence is the language of love.

In the Eucharist, Jesus does not simply give us something—He gives us Himself. He remains present, available, and faithful, assuring each one of us: "I am here for you."

May we who receive the Body of Christ also become His presence to others through acts of love, compassion, sacrifice, and service.

"The Eucharist is God's way of saying: 'I am here for you.'"
