Mga kapatid, pansamantala tayong mag‑alay ng katahimikan upang manalangin para sa bansang Nepal.

Panginoon, mahabagin at makapangyarihan, itinataas namin sa Iyo ang bansang Nepal. Sa gitna ng baha na kanilang naranasan, Ikaw ang maging kanlungan nila. Ibalik Mo ang pag‑asa sa mga pusong sugatan, pagalingin Mo ang mga kalooban ng mga nawalan ng mahal sa buhay at kabuhayan, at pagpalain Mo ang mga tumutulong sa kanila.

Nawa’y maranasan ng Nepal ang Iyong kapayapaan at awa. Muli Mo silang ibangon mula sa masakit na pagbagsak na ito. Nawa’y maparangalan Ka at makilala Ka nila sa mga naganap na ito. Sa pangalan ni Jesus, Amen.

The Cost Of Following Jesus

Jesus did not call us to live a comfortable Christianity. He called us to live as His disciples.

-Understand what it means to follow Jesus.
-Recognize the cost of denying ourselves and taking up our cross.
-Respond by choosing to follow Jesus in obedience.

You may not know the way,
but when you follow Jesus,
He will lead the way.

Follow Jesus and Deny Yourself

Denying self is knowing what God wants, and choosing His will over mine.

Upang ipahayag ang tamang pagsunod kay Hesus:
Ang pagsunod kay Hesus ay isang personal na desisyon.
Upang ipaunawa kung paano mawala at makasusumpong ng buhay.

Nang magkagayo'y sinabi ni Jesus sa kaniyang mga alagad, Kung ang sinomang tao'y ibig sumunod sa akin ay tumanggi sa kaniyang sarili, at pasanin ang kaniyang krus, at sumunod sa akin. Sapagka't ang sinomang magibig iligtas ang kaniyang buhay ay mawawalan nito: at ang sinomang mawalan ng kaniyang buhay dahil sa akin ay makakasumpong niyaon Sapagka't ano ang pakikinabangin ng tao, kung makamtan niya ang buong sanglibutan at mawawalan siya ng kaniyang buhay? o ano ang ibibigay ng tao na katumbas sa kaniyang buhay?
