WALK IN VICTORY”
Galatians 5:17
"For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh..."
We are in a constant battle, but we can walk in victory through the Spirit of God.
1. The Reality of Battle
Galatians 5:17
Question: Sino ang nananalo sa buhay mo? Laman o Espiritu?
Ang good news: We are victorious in Christ.
Romans 8:37 – “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
2. The Works of the Flesh
Galatians 5:19–21
Paul lists the works of the flesh—adultery, idolatry, hatred, envy, drunkenness, and more.
Bakit ito mahalaga? Because those who live by the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Application: Examine your heart.
True Repentance is the key:
Hindi lang pag-sorry, kundi pagbago ng direksyon.
Turn away from sin and turn to God
3. The Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22–23
Contrast ito ng works of the flesh. Dito makikita ang tunay na Kristiyano.
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Matthew 7:16-20 – “By their fruits you shall know them.”
Hindi madali, pero posible with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Discipline is part of walking in victory.
4. Choosing Our Path
Galatians 5:16 – "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
“You cannot serve two masters.” (Matthew 6:24)
Reminder:
Ignorance of the law excuses no one.
Know yourself as you know Christ.
As you grow in knowing Jesus, you will grow in knowing your identity in Him.
Conclusion:
Victory is possible, but it is a choice.
You must choose to walk in the Spirit, resist the flesh, and live by the power of Christ.
"WALK IN VICTORY" means:
Recognizing the battle
Turning away from sin
Bearing fruit for God
Choosing to follow the Spirit daily
