To all the pastors who have constantly been compassionate, patient, and selfless in continually sharing the Word of God and guiding the people in the church to be closer to God, thank you.

We are blessed for crossing paths with you, for being with you in every charity work we held for those who are in need, and for receiving the blessings of God through you.

We pray that the Lord will endlessly give you strength, wisdom, and grace. We pray that during tough times, the Lord's embrace will be enough to give you warmth.

GRACE WORKS HARDER

Ang buong esensiya ng kautusan ay gawa o work — ngunit sa biyaya tayo’y pinapalakas upang higit na makagawa — kabaliktaran ito sa kanilang maling hinala laban sa katuruan ng biyaya. Grace is not an excuse for laziness and mediocrity but rather, a reason for hard work and excellence. Ang kaisipan na “okay na ‘yan” kahit hindi naman, dahil sa diumano’y “grace” naman — ay hindi tunay na grace, ito ay disgrace.

Ang biyaya ay hindi excuse para sa katamaran, kundi ito’y reason para sa kasipagan. Sa ilalim ng biyaya sinabi mismo ni Apostol Pablo na siya’y nagsipag higit kaninuman dahil sa biyaya — But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them — yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me (1 Corinthians 15:10, NIV).

Hindi inaayunan ng Diyos ang katamaran. Maging sa lumang kasunduan, ito’y mali, lalo na sa bagong kasunduan. Ang pagkakaiba lang nito: Sa lumang kasunduan, ang paggawa ay ugat ng kaligtasan – kailangang magsipag para maligtas; datapuwa’t sa bagong kasunduan, ang mas masipag na paggawa ay bunga ng kaligtasan – mas masipag ka dahil ligtas ka na. Ang mas masipag na paggawa ng mabuti ay dahil sa biyaya ng Diyos — I worked harder than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me – grace works harder!

WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

Ang pananampalataya ay kaisipang nakatuon sa hindi nakikita ng mata. Ang sabi ni Apostol Pablo, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7. NKJV). You cannot walk by faith and walk by sight at the same time. You can only choose one – either you walk by faith or you walk by sight, but you cannot walk on both. Walking by sight is walking with your natural unrenewed mind. Walking by faith is walking with your renewed mind.

Hindi ka makakalakad sa pananampalataya hangga’t hindi mo binabago ang iyong kasipan mula sa nakasanayan nitong pilosopiya. Ang pananampalataya ay paniniwala na nakatuon sa hindi nakikita ng mata. Faith is perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses (Hebrews 11:1, AMP).

Walking by faith is simply agreeing with God, regardless of what you see in the natural. Nang sinabi ni Jesus kay Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Ang naging tugon ni Simon ay “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net” (Luke 5:4-5). Alam ni Simon sa natural na kaisipan na walang isda nang oras na iyon. Pero dahil sa salitang sinabi ni Jesus na inaktuhan naman niya, look what they got – they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking (Verse 6).

Have you ever thought, what he could have missed had he not acted on the word? He could have missed a great catch. Naiisip mo ba kung ano ang maaaring hindi mapasaiyo kung hindi mo aaktuhan ng pananampalataya ang salita ng Diyos? Hindi mapapasaiyo ang malaking huli (great catch). Kailan nila nakuha ang malaking huli? Nang aktuhan ni Simon ang salita ni Jesus sa kabila na ito’y hindi umaayon sa natural na kaisipan.

Ang tanong ni propeta Amos, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3, KJV). Ano sa palagay mo ang sagot? Yes or no? No! Before two can walk together, they must agree. Gayundin, before you can walk with God, you must agree with God. You cannot agree with God, unless you change your mind – Anakainoo!

You cannot walk with God unless you agree with God. Tayo ang dapat sumang-ayon sa Diyos, at hindi ang Diyos ang sasang-ayon sa atin. Ang Biblia ay ang kaisipan ng Diyos na nakasulat – the Bible is God’s thoughts in written form. If you want to walk with God you need to agree with what He is telling you through His word. Dapat sumang-ayon tayo sa salita ng Diyos. Kung ano ang sinasabi ng salita ng Diyos patungkol sa iyo ay dapat sang-ayunan mo. Huwag mong pagdudahan. Huwag mong kontrahin. Kapag nabasa mo sa Biblia, paniwalaan mo at sang-ayunan. Sang-ayunan mo kung ano ang sinasabi ng Diyos tungkol sa iyo.

PRAYER: “Father, I release the power of faith to everyone who has read this article… in Jesus name. Amen. Receive a spiritual revelation and be renewed in your mind and start agreeing with God and walk by faith now… IN JESUS NAME! AMEN.”
