โO Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am!
In life, there are many things we want and long for. There is nothing wrong with these things unless we make them our world and allow our entire lives to revolve around them.
It is true that life is short, and we should enjoy the life we have while we are still here. But not everything is beneficial, and not everything we desire is wise or good for us.
We can enjoy life, but we must remember that we have limitations. Not everything we want is necessarily what we need.
The Word of the Lord reminds us: What is the point of having everything if, in the end, your soul is in danger?
The beauty of life and the joy of living are not measured by how many years we have, but by how we spend the time we are given, especially when we choose to live for the Lord.
As long as we are living, let us live the life given to us by the One who gave us life.
