Team Jesus God is calling us to higher ground; a deeper relationship with Him and purpose-driven life. It is a process.

Living an active Christian life means that we are becoming more like Christ every day.

God’s plans are bigger thananything we could ever think of.

Whatever battle you're fighting now, God is our refuge. Whatever situation you're dealing with now, remember that God is our strength.

Your circumstance doesn't change who God is.

He's stronger than the storm you're facing. He's bigger than your mountains. Whenever you feel like what's in front of you is too big to overcome, remind yourself that God is bigger than that.

So why quit? Keep going. You've come a long way now. So why give up? Keep going. You've waited too long now. You’re not alone– You never were, God’s with you all along. So, instead of giving up, keep going!

See the end will be. You're never alone in this fight. He’s got your back. He is with you, and He is for you. For His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:8)

Keep fighting, and learn to rest as well. He's fighting your battles too, and it's already won.
Thanks be to God who causes us triumph in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 2:14) 🙌🏽🙏🏾

With all the hustle and bustle of life that tends to drain us, may we find our hope anchored in God’s unfailing strength.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength." Isaiah 40:29-29

USA's Anita Alvarez sank slowly to the bottom of the pool at the world championships in Budapest on Wednesday.

Her coach, Andrea Fuentes, scanned the pool deck and made a split-second decision: She dove in to save her.

This image reminds me of the importance of coaching and mentoring.

This coach had the ability to recognize when Anita was under longer than she normally is.

This coach had the desire to help.

This coach had the ability to help.

This coach acted while others were still watching on the sideline.

We have way too many young leaders drowning right now especially in the church. I’ve personally watched as many friends have walked away and unfortunately a couple even taking their own lives due to the pressure that comes from navigating church leadership.

Every Paul needs a Timothy and every Timothy needs a Paul.

If you’re a young person that doesn’t have a mentor, find one. Now.

If you’re a seasoned vet and don’t have a mentee, find one. Now.

When one of us drowns, we all suffer.

Consult your heart and your mind to God first. It’s a matter of priority.⁣
⁣
Stop making decisions based on your temporary emotions. Make room for God, and let His spirit lead you.⁣
⁣
We need to get real enough with Him about our weaknesses so He can be Jesus enough with His grace. ⁣
⁣
Simply put, we are not slaves of our own feelings. But, greater is He that’s in you than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)⁣
⁣
You are stronger than you think you are. Christ lives in you. Remember that ✨

Waiting can be so painful but it’s never a wasted season.⁣
⁣
It’s hard to endure the seasons of waiting, and even harder to understand what the waiting is for. But remember, God hid greater purposes into the places of our waiting.⁣
⁣
Your waiting is never a waste. ⁣It’s preparing you. It’s making you. God is maturing you in this season.

Don’t skip this part just because you’re lonely. Don’t skip this part just because you missed what’s familiar. Trust God in the waiting.⁣

This is the season where God is making sure that every tear you’ve cried, every pain you’ve endured and every sleepless night you’ve walked on are all worth it.⁣
⁣
Maximize this season serving God, honoring your parents, improving yourself and by doing what God called you to do.

Everyone hates this part but it’s part of the process. Remember, what is hard in one season is a rewarding season in the next. Learn to accept the things that are currently undergoing change. Patience is everything.

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” - Psalm‬ ‭27:14
⁣
May God renew your strength and give you joy as you stay faithful in this season. 👼🏽🤍
