O God of Mercy and Compassion, we come before You in this time of uncertainty and fear as Typhoon Tino approaches our land. We lift to You all our brothers and sisters who will be affected by this stormโprotect them, Lord, from harm and danger.
Spread Your mighty hand over every home, every community, and every livelihood. Let Your presence be a shield that no wind can tear down and no flood can destroy. Spare lives, O Lord, and let Your peace reign even in the midst of the storm.
We pray also for our leaders, emergency workers, and all who will respond to this crisis. Grant them wisdom, courage, and compassion to act swiftly and selflessly. May every resource and every aid reach those who truly need it, without greed or corruption. Let this not be another moment for personal gain, but a chance to prove that honest and faithful service to the Filipino people still prevails.
Lord, calm the winds, still the waters, and comfort the hearts of all who are afraid. Strengthen our faith that even in the fiercest storms, You remain our refuge and our hope.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
