Official Statement from Faith Baptist Church, Talisay City

The leadership of Faith Baptist Church would like to respectfully clarify our position regarding political involvement within our community. As a church, we do not engage in political campaigns or endorse any political party or candidate. Our mission remains centered on pointing people to Christ and faithfully serving Him.

We pray for all national and local leaders, honoring them as Scripture instructs, regardless of their political affiliation. As the election season intensifies, we understand the eagerness of candidates to promote their platforms. However, we have chosen to remain neutral and refrain from any form of political endorsement.

Recently, we reached out to the office of a particular candidate with a courteous request to relocate their campaign materials a few meters away from our premises. Unfortunately, this request was not well received. Even so, we remain committed to maintaining a respectful and non-partisan stance.

We trust in God’s sovereignty and pray that His will be done on Election Day. May all candidates and supporters accept the outcome with grace, and together, work toward the betterment of our community.
