𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗙𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆"?

The "far country" always looks like a playground at first, but it ends up feeling like a prison. In Luke 15, the son spent everything he had on things that couldn't feed his soul. Maybe you’ve been trying to fill your heart with things that leave you hungry.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬:

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭 𝓲𝓼 𝓪 𝓟𝓸𝓸𝓻 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓿𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓻: The son had "friends" when he had money, but he was alone when he was in need. God’s love is the only thing that remains when the "wealth" of the world runs dry.

𝓒𝓸𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯: Verse 17 says, "When he came to his senses..." Realizing you are empty without God isn't a failure—it's the beginning of your breakthrough.

𝓑𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓭: The son hoped for a job; he got a banquet. We often settle for surviving, but God wants us to thrive in His presence.
