๐Ÿ… VBS 2026: Day 3

By the grace of God, we finally concluded our Vacation Bible School!

We invited parents to come and to hear the gospel preached. The kids were also very excited to receive their certificates for finishing the VBS. We also gave special awards to kids who were behaved, participative, helpful, obedient, friendly, thankful, enthusiastic and displayed leadership skills. Finally, we recognized and thanked the different ministries for their love for God and the kids. It really showed in how much they gave to make the event a success.

This event could not have been done without our LORD. He is the reason why our church did this and He is the one who supplied all we needed. We pray that He is pleased with the event. We pray that through this event, the seeds of the gospel are firmly planted in each child and parentโ€™s heart and that they all have a saving knowledge of Him.

To God be all the glory, praises and thanks!

๐Ÿฏ VBS 2026: Day 2

For the second day of our VBS, we started with the story of Pharoah letting Israel go only for him to decide to chase them. God saved them by parting the Red Sea. The kids then went through stations representing important stories during their wilderness journey with an important emphasis on how these stories point to Jesus. The day ended with a โ€œPromised Landโ€ buffet where the kids got to taste milk and honey as well as other sweet goodies.

The LORD deserves all the glory and praise for this wonderful day. He truly loves the little children.

๐ŸŒด VBS 2026 DAY 1: OUT OF EGYPT

We praise the Lord for a meaningful Day 1 of our Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the theme, โ€œJourney Through the Wilderness.โ€ We welcomed more than 70 kids from neighboring communities in Talisay City to teach them about our sinfulness and our need for a Savior. Please continue to pray for our Day 2 and Day 3.

If you have children 12 years old and below, you may bring them to Living Word Global Sanctuary to join us tomorrow. Registration starts at 10 am.

Day 3: Today marked the final day of our Summer Worship and Music Workshop, and it was truly a meaningful and encouraging time for everyone involved. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our students learned the importance of excellence, that giving our best is not simply about performing well, but because excellence itself is a form of worship. We serve an amazing and majestic God, and He is worthy of our wholehearted offering, even through music.

Throughout the day, the students continued their breakout sessions, practicing chords, rhythms, and their assigned songs. Later in the afternoon, they gathered together as a full band for the very first time to play as one. There is still much to learn, but it has been such a joy to witness their growth, teamwork, and willingness to learn over these past three days.

At the end of the workshop, we awarded Certificates of Participation to all the students in recognition of their dedication and hard work. Pastor Robert also shared a short word of encouragement and prayed over the students as they prepare for their upcoming recital.

They may be nervous, but they are also very excited to present what they have learned! We will be posting the recital date and schedule soon, and we hope you can come and support these young musicians and worshippers.

Above all, we praise God for everything He has done throughout this workshop. All glory belongs to Him alone! Our prayer is that this workshop would help instill in this young generation the foundations of true worship. And that they may continue to grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and one day have the desire to faithfully serve and commit themselves to the church for the glory of God alone.

Today, we celebrate three couples from Tangke who have been joined together in marriage before God and the church, united in the love of Christ.

We thank the Lord for their lives and for the testimony they now carry of His goodness, grace, and faithfulness.

As Ephesians 4:2-3 says:

โ€œBe completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.โ€

May their marriages be rooted in Christ, strengthened by love, and guided by His peace.

Day 2 of our Summer Worship & Music Workshop!

Today, the students learned the importance of dynamics: understanding when to play softly, boldly, and most importantly, how to listen to one another while playing together as a band.

During their breakout sessions, each group was assigned a song to learn and perform. From practicing chords to learning rhythms and dynamics, it was amazing to see their growth and confidence throughout the day.

Tomorrow marks the final day of the workshop, and our students will be presenting what theyโ€™ve learned in a recital! Weโ€™re excited for everyone to witness their hard work and progress. Stay tuned as we announce the recital schedule soon and we would love for you to come and support them!

Above all, we praise God for His faithfulness throughout this workshop. We are grateful for His sustaining grace upon the teachers, students, and parents who continuously encourage their children in using their gifts for His glory.
