The powers of this world are temporary, and though the final buzzer has not sounded yet, God has already told us the final outcome. Because the Lamb wins, we can remain faithful, stand firm, and keep following Christ. Therefore, do not be deceived or intimidated, but simply look to the Lamb.

And he said to all, โ€œIf anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.โ€
โ€” Luke 9:23โ€“24

Praise God for tonightโ€™s Worship Night! We are grateful to see His church come together not only to worship, but also to pray for stewardship, missions, and perseverance.

Pastor AJ also shared with us that living for Christ is costly because holiness requires us to surrender whatever competes with Christโ€™s rightful rule over our lives. It means denying ourselves, dying to our sinful desires and self-rule, and being willing to live sacrificially for Christ.

But Christโ€™s death was far more costly. Therefore, it is fitting for us to live for His glory and to do His will. We can never repay Him for what He has done for us, but our obedience and sacrificial living are ways of expressing our worship and gratitude to the God who saved us from our fallenness.
