On April 26, 2026, RAY de Talisay organized a Holy Hour lead by RAY de Talisay Spiritual Director, Fr. Roland P. Cepe, OAR dedicated to OAR Vocations at San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish. This spiritual gathering coincided with Good Shepherd Sunday, serving as a profound reminder that the exercise of authority must reflect the dedication and love of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, who came so that we might have life abundantly. The community joined together in the celebration of the Eucharist, seeking the strength to follow His example of selfless service and leadership.

In observance of the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, the assembly offered heartfelt intentions for an increase in religious callings and the continued strength of the OAR mission. Participants prayed specifically for those already serving in the ministry, asking for the grace of holy perseverance in their sacred duties. Through this moment of reflection and adoration, RAY de Talisay reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of prayer and supporting the faithful in their journey toward answering God's call.

The community of Diocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer and San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish- Recoletos gathered in a spirit of devotion and celebration for the Fiesta Solemne Mass honoring Señor San Vicente Ferrer last April 18, 2026.

The Mass was presided over by Rev. Msgr. Ronaldo S. Quijano, SThD, Rector of the San Sebastian Cathedral, alongside the Recoletos de Talisay priests. Their solemn prayers and sermons reflected the virtues of San Vicente Ferrer, inspiring the congregation to embody compassion, charity, and unwavering faith.

The event was further enriched by the active participation of various lay organizations and ministries, who joined in the procession and prayers, making the celebration a true expression of communal faith and devotion.

The Fiesta Solemne Mass not only honored a beloved saint but also reinforced the enduring faith and unity of the Talisay community, inspiring all to live out the virtues exemplified by Señor San Vicente Ferrer.

The Rosary Children gathered on April 12 for a meaningful session about John the Baptist, led by Christine Dingcong. Through simple discussions and engaging activities, the children learned how he prepared the way for Jesus by calling people to change their hearts and live with sincerity and faith. 😊✨

The session also included fun activities and snacks, making it both enjoyable and meaningful as the children reflected on the message of the story. It was a joyful and enriching experience for everyone. 🙏🌟

April 8, 2026 | Orihinal nga imahe ni Señor San Vicente Ferrer magapalayag na buwas nga adlaw, Abril 9, 2026 bilang pagbukas sang novenario kag pagpreparar para sa fiesta solemne sa maabot nga Abril 18, 2026.

Sa pinakauna nga beses, magabalik ang orihinal nga image ni Señor San Vicente Ferrer sa Brgy. Bubog, Talisay City kon diin ini nakit-an sadto nga panahon antes ini gindala sa parokya kag gingamit sa tradisyunal nga palapak. Isa ka Solemn Fluvial Traslacion ang pagahiwaton bilang pagdumdom sa iya pagsaylo gikan sa Brgy. Bubog pakadto sa parokya. Suno sa mga katigulangan, nangin bantug ini nga istorysa sa sadto anay Hacienda Bubog kag karon padayon nga ginadumdom indi lamang sa nasambit nga baranggay kundi sa bug-os nga siyudad.

Ang Solemn Fluvial Traslacion magaumpisa sa takna nga alas dos sang hapon (2:00 PM) sa Bubog Elementary School covered court para sa seremonya kag pangamuyo antes sang prusisyon padulong sa pantalan kon sa diin pagahiwaton ang pagbendisyon sang mga sakayan kag kadagatan. Magagikan sa Brgy. Bubog ang solemn fluvial traslacion kag magalabay sa kadagatan nga sakop sang Brgy. 16 kag Bgry. 15 antes magdungka sa Brgy. Zone 3.

Pagapatigayunon ang foot procession gikan sa Brgy. Zone 3 padulong sa parokya kon sa diin magasugod ang una nga adlaw sang novenario sa takna nga alas cinco y media sang hapon (5:30PM).

Gina-agda ang tanan ilabi na ang indi makaupod sa fluvial procession sa pagpadulong sa Catabla, Brgy. Zone 3 agud maghulat sa imahe ni Señor San Vicente Ferrer kag mag-upod sa foot procession. Ginapangabay man ang mga deboto sa mga coastal areas sa pagbantay sa paglabay sang solemn fluvial traslacion.

The Joy of the Risen Lord: A Celebration with Rosary Children🥚🐰🧺

“ Finding more than just eggs today—finding hope, love, and new beginnings. ”

For the Rosary Children, Easter Sunday is more than just a date on the calendar. It is the end of a journey that started on Ash Wednesday. Today is the day their voices rise in a chorus of "Hallelujah!" after weeks of learning about prayer and sacrifice.

As the children happily playing and finding some hidden easter egg around the parish ground, the air filled with their exuberant laughter and the triumphant shouts of discovery.

Seeing these kids celebrate the Resurrection of our dearest God is a powerful reminder of what it means to have faith like a child. The world outside may be busy with different celebrations, but our kids find the deeper magic in the surrounding. They see the flowers that are blooming and the sun not only as signs of a new season, but also as signs of Jesus' victory over darkness.

Fiesta Señor San Vicente Ferrer 2026

As part of our joyful preparation for the Fiesta Señor San Vicente Ferrer, the Palapak Image of Señor San Vicente Ferrer will visit our Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) so that more families and communities may encounter his presence, offer their prayers, and receive his blessings.

This sacred visitation is a beautiful expression of our parish devotion, bringing Señor San Vicente Ferrer closer to the faithful in their own chapels and neighborhoods. It is also an opportunity for our communities to gather in prayer, strengthen our faith, and renew our commitment to the mission of Christ.

We warmly invite all parishioners, devotees, and residents of the different BEC areas to join the scheduled visits, welcome Señor San Vicente Ferrer with reverence, and pray together for our families, our parish, and our community.

Let us prepare our homes, chapels, and hearts as we receive the beloved Palapak of Señor San Vicente Ferrer.

The Solemn Fluvial Traslación of Señor San Vicente Ferrer

The Diocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer and San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish – Recoletos invites all devotees, pilgrims, and parishioners to witness and participate in a historic moment of grace and devotion.

On April 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM, we will celebrate PAGLAYAG: The Solemn Fluvial Traslación of Señor San Vicente Ferrer, as the venerated original Palapak Image of Señor San Vicente Ferrer returns in a prayerful journey through the waters of our coastal communities.

The sacred voyage will begin at Brgy. Bubog, the home of the original image, and will pass through the waters of Brgy. Zone 16 and Brgy. Zone 15, before arriving at Brgy. Zone 3, where a solemn foot procession with Señor San Vicente Ferrer will have a final journey to the Parish Church.

This solemn fluvial procession marks the opening of the Novena Masses in honor of Señor San Vicente Ferrer, our beloved patron and tireless preacher of the Gospel. As we accompany him across the waters, we symbolically renew our faith and entrust our families, our fishermen, and our entire community to his powerful intercession.

Let us gather as one Church—on the shores, on the boats, and along the streets—to welcome our beloved Señor San Vicente Ferrer with prayer, devotion, and thanksgiving. Be part of this historic Paglayag of faith.
