📖 Gospel: Matthew 18:15–20

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the importance of love, reconciliation, and unity within the Christian community. Jesus teaches us to correct one another with kindness, seek forgiveness, and work toward restoring relationships rather than allowing conflicts to divide us. He also assures us that whenever we gather in His name, He is present among us.

🙏 Lord, help me to be an instrument of peace and understanding. Teach me to approach others with humility, love, and compassion, especially when misunderstandings arise. Strengthen our faith and unite us in Your presence, so that through our songs and service, we may bring others closer to You and reflect Your love in all that we do. Amen.

Today, we celebrate and thank God for the gift of your presence. We are truly grateful for the new learnings you generously share with the choir, and for the thoughtful suggestions and important enhancements you bring whenever you see ways to address the needs of the group. Your willingness to help us grow means more than you know.

Most of all, thank you for offering your spare time and showing up whenever you can, even when life brings its own challenges and demands. Every effort, every idea, and every moment you give to the choir is deeply appreciated. Your presence reminds us that service is not always about having plenty of time, but about making time when we can. ❤️

🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF THE LATE BIENVENIDO LABAJO 🕊️

With deep sadness and heartfelt sympathy, we offer our prayers for the peaceful passing of the late Bienvenido Labajo, beloved father of Bishop Ruben Labajo, DD.

In this moment of grief, may the Labajo family be comforted by the love of God and by the beautiful memories of a life that touched the hearts of many. May they find strength in knowing that death is not the end, but a passage toward the eternal embrace of our Heavenly Father.

🙏 Eternal Father, into Your loving hands we commend the soul of Your servant, Bienvenido Labajo. Forgive his sins and shortcomings, and receive him into the fullness of Your Kingdom. May the light of Your presence shine upon him, and may he find everlasting peace in Your loving embrace. Comfort Bishop Ruben and the entire Labajo family in their sorrow, strengthen them in faith, and remind them that those who trust in You are never truly lost, but only called home. Today’s Gospel reminds us of the importance of recognizing who Jesus truly is and having the courage to profess our faith in Him. Like Peter, who declared, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God,” we are called to trust in Christ, remain steadfast in our faith, and boldly witness His presence in our lives.

🙏 Lord, strengthen my faith so that I may always recognize You as my Savior and follow You with confidence and trust. Help me to remain faithful even in times of uncertainty and to courageously share Your love with others. May our songs always bring people closer to You and inspire hearts to believe in Your goodness. Amen.

🎶Music Ministry Grand Choir

The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Virgilio Pedrano, with Msgr. Guillermo Gorre concelebrating. Through their prayerful presence and the beautiful ministry of music, we give thanks for 190 years of God’s unwavering faithfulness to this parish community.

📖 Gospel: Matthew 15:21–28

The Canaanite woman’s persistent faith reminds us that genuine faith does not easily give up. For 190 years, this parish has journeyed through generations—remaining steadfast in prayer, service, and trust in God. Like the woman in the Gospel, may we continue to approach the Lord with humble hearts and unwavering faith, knowing that His mercy reaches beyond every boundary.

As we celebrate this milestone, may the parish continue to be a home of faith, a school of charity, and a beacon of hope bringing generations closer to Christ through worship and service.

🙏 Lord, we thank You for 190 years of blessings, guidance, and grace upon our parish. Continue to strengthen our priests, ministers, choirs, families, and every member of this community. May Sta. Teresa de Avila intercede for us, that we may remain faithful in prayer, generous in service, and united in love. May the next generations carry forward the faith entrusted to us. Today’s Gospel reminds us of the power of faith, humility, and perseverance in prayer. The Canaanite woman continued to trust Jesus even when she faced challenges and seemed to receive no answer. Her deep faith and persistence moved Jesus to recognize her great faith.

🙏 Lord, strengthen me when I feel discouraged and when my prayers seem unanswered. Teach me to remain humble, patient, and faithful, trusting that Your timing is always perfect. Help me never to give up on You and to continue believing in Your goodness. May our songs always bring others closer to You. Amen.
