There’s something about the silence of Black Saturday that hits differently. It’s the day of the 'not yet.'

The resurrection has not yet taken place, but the crucifixion is behind us. A lot of happenings in our life as young people feel like this Saturday. When everything seems quiet and still, we wait for answers, for doors to open, or to question if God is still at work. It's simple to feel trapped in the tomb of our own situation.

However, today serves as a reminder that silence does not equate to absence. Jesus was performing His most profound work even while the tomb was locked and the world remained silent. In order for us to live in the light, Jesus was defeating death in the dark. So if you’re in a ‘Saturday’ season of your life right now, don’t lose heart. The story isn't over. The dawn is coming, just as He said.

Faith in Every Step ✨

Visita Iglesia is a Roman Catholic devotion, especially observed during Holy Week, where the faithful visit and pray in several churches as a form of reflection, repentance, and deepening of faith.

Visiting these churches is not just a tradition for us—it is a mission. With every step, we walk in prayer for the lives lost to conflict and for the innocent hearts still hoping for miracles in the midst of war.

This Visita Iglesia, we also lift up our community facing supply shortages. We pray for strength to look beyond our own needs, to turn away from greed, and to share whatever we have with those who are struggling.

May every step we take bring us closer to faith, compassion, and unity. 🙏

Dear ASJN Youth,

Warmest congratulations to all our Senior High School graduates, those moving up, and everyone who received awards, honors, and made it to the Dean’s List. I'm so proud of each and every one of you.

And to those who may not have received awards or recognition, please know that I am still deeply proud of you. I’ve heard your stories, your struggles, and your late-night worries about school. I know how hard it has been—how academics sometimes made it difficult for you to serve or show up the way you wanted. But look at you now—you made it through the entire school year. You didn’t give up. That alone is something worth celebrating.

If no one has told you this yet: Congratulations. You did it, and I am so proud of you.

My dear youth, as you read this, I pray that God will fill you with strength, wisdom, and courage for every step ahead. May He provide for your needs, especially in your studies, and bless you with the resources you need. I pray that every pain, every moment of brokenness, and every downfall you’ve experienced will be met with His healing and restoration.

May you continue to grow not only in knowledge but also in faith. Keep trusting God’s plan for your life, even when the path feels uncertain. Remember that your worth is not measured by awards, but by who you are in Christ and the purpose He has placed in your heart.

Keep going, keep believing, and keep serving. You are loved, valued, and destined for great things. 💛

🥳🎇2026 IS FINALLY HEREEEEE!! 🎇🥳

As we step into a new era, we are always choosing to trust the Architect of our souls more than our own plans this year as an organization.

May we remember that every heartbeat, every dream, and every 'unknown' are safely held in His hands. 🕊️

Here’s to a year of walking by faith and serving with fire. 🔥🙏

On this✨ final dawn of Misa de Gallo✨, the haunting plea of Engelbert Humperdinck’s "Release Me" resonates far beyond a simple melody, echoing both the liberation of the priest Zechariah and the singer’s own profound journey of faith. Just as Zechariah was bound by a heavy silence of doubt until the birth of John shattered his chains, Engelbert himself faced a literal "silence" early in his career, battling a life-threatening bout of tuberculosis that nearly took his voice and his life. For both men, the "release" came through divine timing—Zechariah’s tongue was loosened into the soaring Canticle of Praise, and Engelbert, a devout Catholic who once received the last rites, saw his career resurrected through faith and a providential opportunity.

This last dawn reminds us that when we surrender our fears and allow God to release us from our own prisons of worry, our lives become a living Benedictus; by letting go of what binds us, we transform our past silence into a song of joy, clearing the way to welcome the birth of Christ with a heart that is finally free. 🪽🌲

As we gather for the✨ 8th day of Misa de Gallo✨, the dawn light mirrors the hope found in the story of John the Baptist. This isn't just an ancient story of a miraculous birth; it is a story about the weight of a name and the depth of a parent’s love.

Think of the moment John was born. Zechariah and Elizabeth were beyond their years, yet God breathed life into their silence. When the time came to name him, they didn't choose a family tradition; they chose obedience. They named him John, which means "The Lord is Gracious."

For many of us, our parents were the first ones to look at us and see a future. Before we could even speak, they gave us a name—a first gift that defines who we are.

Your name is not a coincidence. Whether you were named after a saint, a grandparent, or a dream your parents held onto, you carry a legacy of grace. John’s mission was to "prepare the way for the Lord," and in your own way, so is yours.

Sometimes, life feels heavy. You might feel like your dreams are impossible or that you are lost in the crowd. But look at John: his life proves that nothing is impossible for God. His grace is already at work in your life, even in the quiet moments.

Take a moment to truly thank your parents or those who raised you. Love is first returned at home. When you honor them, you honor the God who gave you to them. Cherish the name you carry. It isn’t just a label; it is a mission.
As we inch closer to Christmas, let your heart be like John’s—a voice in the world that points others toward hope, kindness, and the Light of Christ.

The Lord is gracious, and His grace is enough for you. 💕🌲

On this 7th day of Misa de Gallo✨, we find ourselves moved by the tender encounter between Elizabeth and Mary—two women bound by "impossible" miracles and a shared, silent understanding. Their embrace is a beautiful reminder that we were never meant to carry our burdens alone; God often sends us family and friends to act as a sanctuary when life feels overwhelming. In their eyes, we see a reflection of our own human need for connection and the profound relief of being truly seen and understood by those we love.

This sacred story invites us to trust in a divine plan that often moves in ways we cannot immediately see. Elizabeth’s years of patient waiting and Mary’s sudden, courageous surrender teach us that our deepest vulnerabilities can become the very places where God’s grace takes root. As we lean into the remaining days of Advent, we are reminded to cherish the messy, beautiful reality of our own families. It is within the warmth of our homes and the laughter of our kin that we experience the most tangible evidence of God’s love, turning our quiet worries into a collective song of gratitude and belonging. 💕🎁

On this 6th day of Misa de Gallo, as we sit in the quiet of the dawn, the word GOSEL serves as a beautiful heartbeat for our reflection. It is more than just an acronym; it is a roadmap of how 1. G- Jesus Christ lived, mirrored perfectly through the quiet strength of St. Joseph.

2. O- Obedience
Following God isn't about losing your freedom; it’s about finding your purpose. Like Joseph, you might feel uncertain about the future—about your studies, your family, or your career path. But when you choose to do what is right over what is easy, you are saying "Yes" to a plan much bigger than your own.

3. S- Sacrifice
In an age of "likes" and "shares," we often want the world to see everything we do. But Joseph’s Sacrifice was quiet. He gave up his own plans to protect Mary and Jesus. For you, sacrifice might mean staying off your phone to truly listen to a friend in pain, or waking up early for Simbang Gabi even when you’re exhausted. These small, "hidden" acts of love are what make you most like Jesus.

4. E- Early Father of Jesus
To the youth of today, the word Obedience often feels like a heavy chain. We live in a world that tells us to "do whatever makes us happy" and to "be our own boss." But if we look at St. Joseph, the Early Father of Jesus, we see a different kind of strength. Joseph wasn't a man of many words, but he was a man of immense action.

5. L- Love
When life feels overwhelming and the pressure to succeed is crushing, remember that Jesus doesn’t ask you to be perfect; He asks you to be faithful. By following the example of St. Joseph, you learn that trusting God doesn't mean you have all the answers—it just means you know Who is leading the way.

So Keep going, keep trusting, and keep shining. The world needs the light that only you can bring through your "Yes" to God. 🙏✨
