HAPPY FIESTA, DAY-AS! | Devotees gathered together in a faithful and joyful celebration of the 21st fiesta of Our Lady of Fatima chapel in Day-as today, May 16, 2026. A Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ian-Narcissus Openia, OSA, where prayers and devotions were lifted to God.

With the guidance and loving intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may we all be reminded that prayers bring strength and gratitude. Just like Mary, may we all remember that during the difficult times, the light of God ignites, guiding and making us Eucharistic individuals.

Various chapels from Barangays Mohon, Pooc, Biasong, and Lawaan II faithfully carried out the traditional Flores de Mayo and May Catechesis as we welcomed the month of May, a time specially devoted to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary.

With the guidance and dedication of our youth volunteers, who underwent orientation and were provided with modules to equip them as effective young leaders and catechists in their respective communities, the sessions became more meaningful and engaging for the children.

Beyond preserving a cherished tradition, may these activities encourage everyone to pray the Holy Rosary each day, live out Christian values, and inspire others to grow in devotion, so that through the loving guidance and example of Mama Mary, we may deepen our relationship and faith in her son, Jesus Christ.
