For 176 years, the City of Talisay has journeyed in faith under the loving intercession of our beloved patron, San Nicolas de Tolentino. Today, we celebrate not just a tradition, but a living testament of devotion passed down through generations.

"Upod kay San Nicolas de Tolentino: Nagapakigbahin sang Tinapay, Nagapakigbahin kay Kristo sa Tuig sang Misyon."

From the solemnity of the Pontifical Mass to the joyful procession lit by a thousand candles, let us come together as one family of faith — sharing in the Bread, sharing in Christ, and renewing our mission as one Church.

To every Talisaynon, near and far — malipayon nga fiesta sa aton tanan! Let us give thanks, let us rejoice, and let us continue walking this journey of faith, hand in hand with San Nicolas de Tolentino.

A Grand and Blessed Procession!

Praise God for a successful Grand Fiesta Procession in honor of San Nicolas de Tolentino held today, September 9, 2026! The major streets of the city came alive as 34 patron saints from different chapels, haciendas, sitios, and nearby parishes in Talisay City joined in devotion and celebration adorned with flowers mounted on motorcycles, cars, or carrozas.

Parishioners and community members accompanied their patron saints as they celebrate the 176th patronal fiesta in the grand procession. Members of the lay organizations and ministries walked together with the devotees in a festive and prayerful manifestation of devotion to San Nicolas de Tolentino.

Adding vibrance and festivity to the occasion was the procession band from the Recoletos Wind and Percussion of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Performing Arts, whose lively music filled the air throughout the route.

Thank you to everyone who joined, prayed, and celebrated with us — truly a night of faith, unity, and joyful devotion!
