The Parish Youth Coordinating Council of Our Lady of Consolation Parish, together with the different mandated organizations of the parish of St Francis de Asisi joined the Tree Planting Activity organized by the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi, Naga City, Cebu, in collaboration with APO Cement, as part of the commemoration of the 800th Death Anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi.

The activity brought together members of the parish community in a meaningful effort to care for our environment and our Common Home. Through planting trees, the participants were reminded that caring for creation is a shared responsibility and an important expression of faith and service.

We extend our gratitude to the organizers and partners for creating this meaningful initiative that promotes environmental care and sustainability. May the trees we planted continue to grow as a symbol of hope and our collective commitment to protecting Godโ€™s creation.

The Heart That Searches for the One

๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ ๐—จ๐—ฝ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ | The Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC) โ€“ Laray held its Fourth Regular Session last September 19, 2026, bringing together the council members to discuss ongoing programs, upcoming parish activities, and plans for the remainder of the year.

Anchored on โ€œBeyond the Ninety-Nine: The Heart That Searches for the One,โ€ the session served as a reminder that youth ministry is not only about the programs we organize, but also about the young people we seek, welcome, accompany, and serve.

The council discussed updates on the BAI Series, including ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐š ๐“๐š ๐๐š๐ข, ๐ƒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐š ๐“๐š ๐๐š๐ข, and ๐‘๐€๐˜: ๐ˆ๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฌ, as well as preparations for the year-end merchandise, Taizรฉ Prayer and Agape, and the San Pedro Calungsod Fiesta Novena and activities to be handled by the youth council.

The session also covered the implementation of PYCC Sacred Practices and other matters concerning the youth ministry, including preparations for ๐–๐˜๐ƒ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•, the updating of the youth directory, and initial preparations for ๐‰๐€๐‘ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•.

The session was further graced by the presence of the PYCCโ€™s RAY Lay Collaborator, ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ญ ๐๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ ๐š, and the councilโ€™s new Spiritual Director, ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐Œ๐œ ๐€๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ ๐‚๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ฉ๐ข๐ง, ๐Ž๐€๐‘.

As PYCC Laray continues its journey, the council remains committed to searching for the one, welcoming the many, and building a youth community in OLCP-R where everyone has a place to belong.

Today, we celebrate the beautiful heart you have poured into PYCC since the very beginning.

Thank you for being one of the people who helped build this youth ministry from its first steps. From the early days of planning, organizing, and serving, you have been there through every challenge, milestone, and moment that shaped PYCC into what it is today. Your dedication as our General Secretary has been a powerful reminder that ministry grows through people who are willing to serve faithfully behind the scenes.

Thank you for your commitment, patience, and willingness to take responsibility even when the work is not always seen. The documents you prepare, efforts you give, and time you share all became part of the foundation that helped this ministry grow stronger.

Thank you for your dedication to serving the youth with a genuine and selfless heart. Despite having to travel far from home just to be at church, you continue to show up and make the effort to be present for the young people you serve. Your presence reminds us that ministry is not only about being there when it is convenient, but about intentionally making the effort because the people we serve matter.

As our External Youth Coordinator, your commitment, willingness to help, and heart for the youth continue to inspire us. Thank you for choosing to serve, even when it takes extra time, effort, and sacrifice.

May God continue to bless you with strength, wisdom, and a joyful heart as you continue your mission of service and whenever the journey to Laray feels a little farther than usual, we hope you remember that there will always be a home waiting for you here. Last September 13, 2026, our PYCC officers gathered for the first run of ๐ƒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐š ๐“๐š ๐๐š๐ข, a new chapter in our BAI Series headed by the ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ž.

More than simply trying out the activities we have prepared, the day gave our leaders a chance to play, connect, and simply enjoy each otherโ€™s company outside the usual meetings and ministry work. It was a reminder that while we are called to serve, we also need spaces where we can pause, breathe, and journey with one another.

We were also blessed to welcome our new Spiritual Director, ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐Œ๐œ ๐€๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ ๐‚๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ฉ๐ข๐ง, ๐Ž๐€๐‘, as he joins us in our continuing journey in the youth ministry.

This first run is only the beginning. Through Duwa Ta Bai, we hope to create more spaces where our youth can feel at home, build friendships, discover their gifts, and grow together in service.

Hereโ€™s to more games, stories, moments, and more reasons to ๐’๐จ๐š๐ซ ๐๐ž๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ and ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐. ๐Ÿธโœจ

Mga Bai, we are excited to welcome you once again to another chapter of our BAI Series!

After our first journey through Bisita Ta Bai, where we strengthened our connection with our community, we now continue this journey through Duwa Ta Bai, a space specially created for our young people to simply pause, breathe, and be reminded that they are never alone.

We know that being young comes with many responsibilities, challenges, and moments when life can feel overwhelming. There are days when we give so much of ourselves to our studies, work, families, and ministries that we forget to take a moment for ourselves.

This time, we want the BAI Series to be ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐š๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐š.

DAY 5 | Charismatic Got Talent!

The stage came alive during CCR Night as the different communities of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement shared their God-given talents through Charismatic Got Talent. Every song, dance, and performance became a beautiful expression of faith, reminding everyone that our gifts are meant to glorify God and serve His people.

More than a showcase of talents, the evening celebrated the joy of serving the Lord through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Thank you to all the CCR communities, performers, coordinators, and everyone who made the night truly meaningful. May we continue to use our gifts to bring others closer to Christ.
