My dear fellow Filipinos, especially my brothers and sisters in the Catholic faith, There is a growing concern in our country today, one that often goes unnoticed or is brushed aside as insignificant, and that is the increasing number of Catholics, particularly the youth, who are unknowingly becoming involved in Freemasonry. Whether out of curiosity, ignorance, or the appeal of camaraderie, leadership, or social advancement, many do not realize the grave spiritual consequences of this affiliation. As Catholics, it is not simply a matter of personal choice or opinion. The Church has consistently and clearly taught that Freemasonry is incompatible with the Catholic faith. This is not just an old rule from a bygone era. It remains a serious matter of moral and doctrinal concern.

The Church’s condemnation of Freemasonry goes back centuries. Pope Clement XII was the first to formally speak against it in 1738 through his encyclical In Eminenti Apostolatus Specula, and successive popes reaffirmed this condemnation. But even in recent times, the Church has maintained this stance. In 1983, when the new Code of Canon Law was published, some people mistakenly thought that since Freemasonry was no longer explicitly mentioned, it was now allowed. But the Vatican quickly clarified this confusion. The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, under then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI), released a declaration titled Declaration on Masonic Associations dated November 26, 1983, which clearly stated:

“The Church’s negative judgment in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged, since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church. Therefore, membership in them remains forbidden. The faithful who enroll in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion.”

This declaration was approved by Pope St. John Paul II. And more recently, in 2023, the Vatican again reaffirmed this teaching. In response to the growing concern, especially in regions like the Philippines where Freemasonry is quite influential, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith responded with clarity: Catholics who are Freemasons are in a state of objective grave sin, and the Church prohibits their admission to the sacraments, especially the Eucharist.

Why is Freemasonry incompatible with Catholicism? Because it promotes a worldview that is contrary to the revealed truth of our faith. Freemasonry teaches a form of religious relativism, that all religions are equal paths to the “Great Architect,” and it rejects the uniqueness of Jesus Christ as the one true Savior of mankind. It denies the exclusive authority of the Catholic Church to teach and sanctify. Its oaths, symbols, rituals, and secret doctrines subtly and sometimes explicitly promote values that are at odds with the Gospel, such as indifferentism, secrecy in moral matters, and the subordination of divine revelation to human reason.

Moreover, the spiritual harm is not just theoretical. Those who join Freemasonry bind themselves through oaths and rituals that place them in spiritual danger, open to false ideas and influence, and separate them from full communion with the Church. Some may not be aware of what they are getting into, especially our younger generation who may see it only as a fraternity, a network, or a leadership platform. But the devil often works precisely through such deceptions, offering something that looks good on the surface but is spiritually deadly underneath.

To my fellow Filipinos, we must speak clearly and with love. If you are a Catholic and you are part of Freemasonry, you must seriously consider the eternal consequences. The Church is not being old-fashioned or judgmental. She is being a mother, protecting her children from spiritual harm. And if you are thinking of joining, do not take this lightly. Study your faith, know the Church’s teaching, and realize that salvation is found in Christ alone through the Church He founded. No worldly organization, no matter how impressive or influential, is worth risking your soul.

Let us remain faithful to Christ and His Church and pray for all those who have gone astray, that they may return to the fullness of the truth. And may we also have the courage to lovingly correct those who are unaware of the danger, especially among our kababayan who may be walking into Freemasonry out of ignorance, not rebellion. The truth must be spoken, even when it is hard. And in this case, the truth is clear. Catholics cannot and must not be Freemasons.

ETO NA NAMAN ANG LUMANG LINYA AT ATAKE NG MGA SULPOT NA SEKTA.

“Bakit Roman Catholic?

Isip-isip din pag may time😁

📖 CCC 830

---

👑 Constantine the Great

ONE CHURCH, MANY TRADITIONS
Why the Catholic Church Has 24 Churches

Many people think the Catholic Church is only the Roman or Latin Church.
But the reality is more beautiful and diverse.
The Catholic Church is actually a family of 24 Churches, united in faith and communion with the Pope.
These include:
*1 Latin Church
*23 Eastern Catholic Churches
All of them are fully Catholic and share the same core beliefs, especially faith in the Eucharist and communion with the Pope.

WHAT ARE EASTERN CATHOLIC CHURCHES?
Eastern Catholic Churches are Christian communities that:
*follow ancient Eastern liturgical traditions
*maintain their own spiritual heritage and disciplines
*remain in full communion with the Pope
Their traditions often developed in regions such as the Mïddle East, Eastern Europe, India, and parts of Africa.

EXAMPLES OF EASTERN CATHOLIC CHURCHES
Some of the best known include:
*Maronite Church (Lebanon and Middle East)
*Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
*Melkite Greek Catholic Church
*Syro-Malabar Church (India)
*Syro-Malankara Catholic Church
*Chaldean Catholic Church
Each has its own liturgy, spirituality, and history.

WHY THEY ARE STILL FULLY CATHOLIC:
Despite their different traditions, these Churches share the same essential faith.
They are united in:
*the sacraments
*apostolic succession
*communion with the Pope
This unity reflects the prayer of Jesus Christ:
“That they may all be one.” -John 17:21

WHAT THE CATECHISM SAYS:
The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that the universal Church exists in many particular Churches.
“The Church of Christ is truly present in all legitimately organized local groups of the faithful.” -CCC 832
These different Churches express the same Catholic faith through various liturgical and spiritual traditions.

WHY THIS DIVERSITY MATTERS:
The existence of Eastern Catholic Churches reminds us that the Catholic Church is not limited to one culture or one style of worship.
Instead, it is a universal communion that embraces many traditions while remaining one in faith.

A BEAUTIFUL TRUTH:
The Catholic Church is not just Roman.
It is global, ancient, and wonderfully diverse.
Yet in the end, all these Churches form one Body of Christ.

💬 Did you know the Catholic Church includes 23 Eastern Churches besides the Latin Church?

The ROMAN EMPIRE and the CATHOLIC CHURCH are not the same institution, although they interacted closely in history.

One was a POLITICAL EMPIRE,while the other is a religious Church founded by JESUS CHRIST according to CHRISTIAN belief.

BELOW IS AN HONEST HISTORICAL AND BIBLICAL l COMPARISON.

NATURE AND PURPOSE

ROMAN EMPIRE

A political and military empire that ruled large parts of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
Founded traditionally in 27 BC when Augustus became emperor.
Its purpose was government, taxation, military conquest, and law.

CATHOLIC CHURCH

A religious community of believers in Jesus Christ.
Believed by Catholics to be founded by Jesus Christ around 30–33 AD.

MISSION: teach the Gospel, administer sacraments, and guide believers spiritually.

CONCLUSION:
One is a state, the other is a church.

ORIGIN IN HISTORY

ROMAN EMPIRE

Grew from the Roman Republic.
Became an empire under Augustus.
Lasted in the West until 476 AD.

CATHOLIC CHURCH

Began with the apostles after the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Catholics believe leadership was given to Saint Peter.

BIBLICAL BASIS:

MATTHEW 16:18
“You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.”

ACTS 2
The Church publicly begins preaching.

CONCLUSION:

The Church began within the Roman Empire, but it was not created by the Empire.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM

At first, the Roman Empire persecuted Christians.

Examples of emperors who persecuted Christians:
Nero
Diocletian

Many early Christians were executed.
Later the situation changed.

IN 313 AD, CONSTANTINE THE GREAT issued the EDICT OF MILAN, allowing CHRISTIANITY to be practiced freely.

CONSTANTINE did not found the CHURCH.

CHRISTIANITY already existed for almost 300 years before him.

BIBLICAL View of the ROMAN EMPIRE

The ROMAN EMPIRE appears in the Bible as the political power during JESUS time.

PONTIUS PILATE was the ROMAN GOVERNOR who sentenced JESUS CHRIST to crucifixion.

The EMPIRE also appears symbolically in prophecy.

DANIEL 2 describes successive world empires including Rome.

LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE

Roman Empire
Emperor
Senate
Military power

CATHOLIC CHURCH

POPE (successor of Saint Peter)
BISHOPS
PRIESTS and DEACONS
The POPE is a spiritual leader, not an EMPEROR.

DURATION

Roman Empire
Roughly 27 BC – 476 AD (Western Empire)

CATHOLIC CHURCH

Began in the 1st century
Continues today for about 2,000 years

COMMON MISUNDERSTANDING

SOME GROUPS CLAIM:

“The CATHOLIC CHURCH is the ROMAN EMPIRE.”

HISTORICALLY THIS IS INCORRECT BECAUSE:

CHRISTIANITY existed before it was legalized by ROME.

ROMANS persecuted CHRISTIANS (CATHOLIC) for centuries.

The CHURCH survived after the EMPIRE collapsed.

HISTORICALl AND BIBLICAL CONCLUSION

HISTORICALLY AND BIBLICALLY:

The ROMAN EMPIRE was the government ruling the world when JESUS CHRIST lived.

The CATHOLIC CHURCH began inside that EMPIRE but was separate from it.

At first ROMAN EMPIRE persecuted the CHURCH, and later it allowed CHRISTIANITY.

THEREFORE:

The ROMAN EMPIRE and the CATHOLIC CHURCH are not the same institution
One was a political empire, the other is a religious church that Christians (CATHOLIC CHURCH) believe was founded by JESUS CHRIST.

Therefore, the accusation of the newly denominations that the ROMAN EMPIRE and the CATHOLIC CHURCH are the same is a great lie.

The Myth of the “Great Apostasy”

Many non-Catholics claim that the Church founded by Jesus Christ fell into apostasy shortly after the death of the Apostles. They argue that the Catholic Church today is not the same Church Christ founded.

But this claim collapses when examined in the light of Scripture, logic, and history.

📖 1. Christ Promised His Church Would Never Be Defeated

✝️
In the Gospel of Matthew 16:18, Jesus declares:

🎯
“You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

If the Church fell into total apostasy for centuries, then the gates of hell would have prevailed, directly contradicting the promise of Christ.

Jesus does not say the Church will disappear and later be “restored.”
He says it will endure.

✝️ 2. Christ Promised to Remain With His Church

In the Gospel of Matthew 28:20, Jesus says:

“I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

This promise is continuous, not temporary.

If the entire Church fell into corruption for hundreds of years, it would mean Christ abandoned His Church—something Scripture clearly denies.

🕊️ 3. The Holy Spirit Guides the Church Into Truth

Jesus promised the guidance of the Holy Spirit in Gospel of John 16:13:

“When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.”

If the Church universally fell into doctrinal error, then the guidance of the Holy Spirit would have failed—which is impossible.

🏛️ 4. The Church Is the Pillar and Foundation of Truth

Scripture describes the Church in First Epistle to Timothy 3:15 as:

“The Church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”

A pillar does not collapse into universal error.
The Church was established to guard and proclaim the truth, not to lose it.

📜 5. History Shows Continuity — Not Apostasy

Those who claim a “Great Apostasy” cannot provide:

❌ A specific date

❌ A specific council or event

❌ A specific leader who caused the fall

❌ Any historical record describing the entire Church abandoning the Gospel

Instead, the historical evidence shows continuous leadership and teaching from the Apostles onward.

Early Christian leaders such as:

• Clement of Rome (1st century)

• Ignatius of Antioch (early 2nd century)

• Irenaeus of Lyons (2nd century)

clearly describe a Church with:

✔ bishops succeeding the Apostles

✔ the Eucharist

✔ apostolic authority

✔ unity with Rome

These are the same marks found in the Catholic Church today.

⚠️ 6. Scripture Warns of People Leaving the Church — Not the Church Disappearing

The Bible does speak about a falling away in Second Epistle to the Thessalonians 2:3, but this refers to people abandoning the faith, not the Church itself becoming apostate.

Throughout history, individuals and groups have left the Church—but the Church itself has remained.

✨ Conclusion

The “Great Apostasy” theory requires believing that:

• Christ failed to protect His Church

• The Holy Spirit failed to guide it

• The truth disappeared for centuries

• And Christianity had to be “rediscovered” later

But Scripture, history, and the witness of the early Christians show something different:

The Church founded by Christ never disappeared.

It continues through history in the Catholic Church — the same Church built upon the Apostles and protected by Christ’s promise.

✨ Reflection

✝️ Christ did not abandon His Church, and the truth He entrusted to it continues through history. Let us remain faithful, rooted in the Church He built, and shine His light in a world full of confusion and doubt.

✝️ THEY DON'T WEAR RED, BUT THEY ARE CARDINALS, CATHOLICS, AND COULD BE POPE ONE DAY😲🤔
_____________

I know most of you must have been seeing in the list of cardinals, some cardinals not dressed like the others, no red cassock, no biretta, and no zucchetto, instead, they wear crowns, veils, or long ornate robes. You wonder: Are these really cardinals? The answer is a big YES.😲

Most of them are Eastern Catholic Cardinals, and their attire reflects the rich tradition of their individual Churches, not the Latin (Roman) Rite. Yet they are fully Catholic and in full communion with the Pope in Rome.

Let me introduce you to three of them:

👉- Cardinal Baselios Cleemis, from the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in India.
👉- Cardinal George Alencherry, from the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, also in India.
👉- Mykola Cardinal Bychok, from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

I know you saw them during the burial of the deceased pope, Francis, right?

They come from Catholic Churches that preserve ancient Eastern traditions, in liturgy, vestments, music, and spirituality, while remaining 100% Catholic. That’s the beauty of the Catholic Church: unity in diversity.

Now here's the big question:
Can an Eastern Catholic be elected Pope?
Absolutely YES.🤔

There is no law in the Church that says the Pope must be from the Latin Rite. Any baptized male Catholic can be elected, and in today’s tradition, it is typically one of the cardinals under 80 years of age. That means Cardinal Cleemis, Alencherry, or Gudziar could one day become pope.

But if an Eastern Cardinal becomes Pope, what happens?

👉- He would become the Bishop of Rome, which automatically places him in the Latin Church.
👉- Though his roots are Eastern, his canonical identity would shift to the Latin Rite, since Rome is a Latin diocese.
👉- He might still celebrate Eastern liturgies personally, honoring his origins, but he would typically preside over Latin Rite Masses as pope.
👉- He becomes the universal pastor of all 24 Catholic Churches, Latin and Eastern alike, carrying the title "Pope", "Vicar of Christ", and "Successor of St. Peter.

Imagine the beauty and richness such a pope would bring, a true witness that the Catholic Church is not just Roman, but global, diverse, and united in faith.

So the next time you see a cardinal dressed in a unique way, remember: He is just as cardinal as the one in red, and he might one day be pope.

God bless you 🙏

✝️ Bakit Hindi Holy Day of Obligation ang Ash Wednesday? ✝️

Isang seryosong paalala.
Isang mapagmahal na babala.

Tahimik ngunit malinaw ang mensahe ng abo:

“Alalahanin mong ikaw ay alabok.”
“Babalik ka rin sa alabok.”
“Maikli ang buhay.”
“Mahalaga ang kaluluwa mo.”
“Magbalik-loob ka.”
“Baguhin mo ang buhay mo.”
“Magsimula ka muli.”

Bagama’t hindi ito Holy Day of Obligation,
ito ay Holy Day of Decision.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗦𝗧. 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟 𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗪𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦?

A common Protestant argument goes like this:

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘲𝘶𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭.”

At first glance, this sounds persuasive. But once examined biblically, historically, and logically, it collapses completely—especially when we look at St. Paul himself.

1. 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝙌𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨—𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙𝙡𝙮

St. Paul was highly educated in Greek philosophy and literature (Acts 22:3). When preaching to Gentiles, he often quoted their own writers to establish common ground.

𝐀. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟏𝟕:𝟐𝟖 – 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐬

“𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘸𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘱𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥,
‘𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨.’”

Paul is preaching at the Areopagus in Athens, not to Jews but to pagan philosophers.

The quoted lines come from:
🚩Epimenides of Crete
🚩Aratus (and echoed by Cleanthes)

📌 Key point:

Paul explicitly calls them “your poets”—not prophets of God, not inspired authors, not Scripture.

𝐁. 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝟏:𝟏𝟐 – 𝐀 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 “𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭”

““𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥,
‘𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘴, 𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘴, 𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘺 𝘨𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘴.’”

This is a direct quotation from Epimenides, a pagan poet-philosopher.

Paul even adds:
“This testimony is true.” (Titus 1:13)

📌 Critical observation:

Paul affirms the statement, not the inspiration of the source.

𝐂. 𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟓:𝟑𝟑 – 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐲

““𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥: ‘𝘉𝘢𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘴.’

This comes from Menander, a pagan Greek playwright.

📌 Again:
Paul borrows a true moral insight, not a sacred text.

2. 𝙌𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 ≠ 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Here’s the fatal flaw in the Protestant argument:
Quoting a text does NOT make it inspired.

Not quoting a text does NOT make it uninspired.

If Protestants were consistent, they would have to conclude:

🚩Epimenides is inspired
🚩Aratus belongs in the Bible
🚩Menander should be canonical Scripture

But no Christian—Protestant, Orthodox or Catholic—believes this, because it’s absurd.

📌 Paul quotes pagan writers for rhetorical and evangelistic purposes, not to canonize them.

3. 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙖𝙮𝙨 “𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙌𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣”

Nowhere does Scripture teach:

“If an apostle quotes it, it’s Scripture”
“If an apostle does not quote it, it’s not Scripture”

This rule is invented, not biblical.

In fact:

Most Old Testament books are never directly quoted in the New Testament
Esther, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Ezra, Nehemiah—rare or zero direct quotations

Yet Protestants accept them as inspired because the Church received them.

4. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙖𝙨 𝙒𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙐𝙨𝙚𝙙—𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙄𝙛 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙌𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙

The apostles primarily used the Septuagint (LXX)—the Greek Old Testament used by Jews outside Palestine.

📌 The Septuagint included the Deuterocanonical books:

📗Wisdom
📘Sirach
📓Tobit
📔Judith
📕Baruch
📔1–2 Maccabees

Paul and the apostles inherited a Bible, they did not invent one.

5. 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙨 𝘿𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝, 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛-𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜

The New Testament canon itself was:

✅Recognized by the Catholic Church
✅Through councils (Rome 382, Hippo 393, Carthage 397)
✅Confirmed by St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, and others

❓ Irony alert: Protestants accept the 27-book New Testament, yet reject the same Church’s authority when it comes to the Old Testament.

6. 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡’𝙨 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙: 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Paul quotes pagan authors because:
🚩He is speaking to pagans
🚩He uses their language and sources
🚩He extracts truth wherever it appears

As St. Augustine later said:

“All truth, by whomsoever spoken, is from God.”

But truth ≠ Scripture.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

⭐Paul quotes pagan writings → not inspired
⭐Paul does not quote some biblical books → still inspired

👍Therefore, quotation is not the test of canonicity

The canon was not decided by:
✅Who quoted what
✅How often it was cited

But by:
📌Apostolic Tradition
📌Church authority
📌Consistent liturgical use

Using Paul to reject the Deuterocanon is self-defeating, because Paul himself proves that quotation does not equal inspiration.

𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡?

In our age of relativism, it has become fashionable—even among Evangelical Protestants, Freemasons and some confused Catholics—to say:

“𝘕𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦.”
“𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦.”
“𝘞𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰.”

This idea sounds tolerant, peaceful, and humble.
In reality, it is neither Christian nor Catholic.

It is the old, condemned heresy called religious indifferentism.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙢?

Indifferentism teaches that:

⭐All religions are equally valid
⭐It does not matter which religion one follows
⭐Salvation can be obtained apart from any specific faith

The Catholic Church has formally condemned this error because it denies objective truth, empties the Gospel, and makes Christ unnecessary.

If all religions are equal, then:
👍Truth is relative
👍Christ is optional
👍The Church is pointless

This is not Christianity. This is religious nihilism.

𝙄𝙛 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙, 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙖 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚

Let us be blunt.

If all religions truly lead to the same God, then Jesus Christ should not have founded a Church at all.

❓Why establish Christianity if:

Judaism already existed?

Paganism flourished across the Roman Empire?

Hinduism and other ancient religions predated Christianity?

If religion does not matter, Christ should have told people:

“𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩.”

But He did the opposite.

𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝 — 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙮

Jesus did not say:

“𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦.”

He said:

“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘗𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘔𝘺 𝘊𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩.” (𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 16:18)

He commanded:

“𝘎𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘣𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮…” (𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 28:19)

Why evangelize?
Why baptize?
Why command conversion—
—if all religions are the same?

Indifferentism turns Christ into a liar or a fool.

𝙍𝙚𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩’𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣-𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙄𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩

It is not only illogical but a grave insult to Christ Himself to reject the Church He personally founded and replace it with man-made Protestant denominations established 1,500 years later by fallible men.

Christ shed His blood for one Church, not thousands of competing sects with contradictory doctrines.

To abandon Christ’s Church for a church invented by men is to say, in effect:

“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩. 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.”

There is nothing humble about that.
It is rebellion disguised as piety.

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙? 𝘼𝙗𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙉𝙤𝙩

This claim collapses under basic logic.

Different Religions Worship Different Gods.

🙏Christians worship the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

🙏Judaism explicitly rejects Jesus as God.

🙏Islam denies the Trinity and the divinity of Christ.

🙏Hinduism is polytheistic or pantheistic.

🙏Pagan religions worship created beings or idols.

Contradictory claims cannot all be true.

If one religion says:
“Jesus is God”

and another says:
“Jesus is not God”

—they are not worshipping the same God.

Truth is not elastic.

𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙄𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙮 — 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙝𝙖, 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙈𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙙

Scripture is clear:

“𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦. 𝘕𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘔𝘦.” (𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 14:6)

Jesus did not say:

“𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺”
“𝘉𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘩𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘥”
“𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩”

Salvation is through Christ, not through religious diversity.

“𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙄𝙨 𝙉𝙤 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣”
(𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 𝙀𝙘𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙨)

This is an unchanging Catholic doctrine, often misunderstood.

It does not mean:

📌All non-Catholics are automatically damned
📌God is bound by sacraments

It does mean:

✅All salvation comes from Christ
✅Christ’s saving grace flows through His Church

The Church is the ordinary instrument of salvation

𝙑𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙄 𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙢

Vatican II clarified—not denied—this doctrine.

It taught that:

📌Those who are invincibly ignorant of the Gospel
📌Who did not knowingly reject Christ
📌Who sincerely seek God and strive to do His will MAY be saved — by Christ — not by their false religion.

Their salvation, if it occurs, is still:
👍Through Christ
👍Through grace
👍Through the Church invisibly

This is not “all religions are equal.”

This is God’s mercy despite human ignorance.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙊𝙡𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩

In the Old Testament:
There was one Ark
Outside the Ark = death
Inside the Ark = salvation

In the New Testament:
The Ark is the Catholic Church
Christ is the door
Baptism is the entrance

But notice this crucial truth:
👍Being Inside Does Not Guarantee Salvation
👍People could jump out of the Ark
👍People inside could still rebel

Likewise, Catholics can fall into mortal sin.
Apostasy and grave sin lead to loss of salvation.

The Church is the instrument, not a magic guarantee.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙄𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨

Indifferentism:
✅Kills evangelization
✅Destroys martyrdom
✅Makes doctrine irrelevant
✅Leads ultimately to atheism

If religion does not matter, then truth does not matter.

If truth does not matter, then God does not matter.

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁

Catholicism does not say:

“We are saved because we are Catholics.”

It says:

“We are saved by Christ, through His Church, by obedience to God’s will.”

All religions are not the same.
All gods are not the same.
All paths do not lead to heaven.

There is one Savior, one truth, one Church.

“𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵.” (𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 7:14)

That is not intolerance.
That is the Gospel.
